It was nice experience with summit namnang resort. We were three families stayed for 4 nights. Rooms are fine, staff is courteous. Piyush, Resort manager helped us a lot. He patiently heard all our requests n tried to accomplish each one of them. We requested one nite stay transfer to summit pelling resort that we got without any cancelation charges. Food, kitchen staff, chef, all hear our requests n make changes to food menu to leave us with delighted culinary experience in their Nathula resort. Such kind of hospitality is amazing. Keep it up guys..

We stayed for a couple of nights in a Chalet room. The wooden flooring and the design of the chalet were amazing. A special mention of Akash from Summit Ttakshang who helped us secure this booking. One of the best hotel staff I have come across, who with his calm demeanour helped us move our booking from one of their sister hotels to Hotel Norling. Overall, the landscape has been done well and the hotel staff is very helpful. Would recommend it to all my friends who visit Gangtok.

Named after one of the most graceful snow mountains in the world, Mount Siniolchu, Hotel Mount Siniolchu is situated in the upper ridges of Gangtok (5 minutes drive / 1.5 kms, from the Gangtok main Town. Located in the tranquil surroundings of the 170-year old Enchey Monastery, the Hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of urban Gangtok and enveloped in peace and serenity.
We are frequent travelllers in Asia ,Europe and america and appreciate the differences our travels offer in terms of hotels, food ,nature and local people. But this hotel is something , beyond our immagination of what a hotel stay stand for. * the carpet in the hotel lobby was dirty, dad bugs here and there. * despite of the executive dubble room we booked, the room was very small, dirty, the bedding was from the previous customer, not changed, smelly bathroom. * we went back to the lobby to complain, the staff did not even say “ sorry”, instead offered another upgraded room, but this new room was even more distinct smelly of mold. We gave up in the end, but the staff did not react( we are not the first customer who react like we did, We guess.) We are usually quite tolerant and have full understanding of some mistakes can be made in some hotels, but their attitude at the reception and the way this hotel is managed is far below anybody’s immagination, DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Its was a good stay, like the cottages. But do remeber, to check with hotel for Location as Map shows wrong directions. This resort belongs to Ex CM , so that is the best way you can find this out. Also, the Cottage is at a Top Hill, so do check with property as they send their own car for pick up from the road. Food is worst, no room service and it takes almost 2 hours for Dinner to be served. You have no other option for Food there, as the place is situated at a hill, so coming down from the hill is another challenge.

The Elgin Nor-Khill ("the house of jewels")is known for its tradition and ethnic Sikkimese ambiance. It is now a luxury heritage property. The Kanchan garden affords a rich view of the hills with the Mount Kanchenjungha in the background, which inspired the Chogyal (King) of Sikkim to paint for hours. The Elgin Nor-Khill was built by the King of Sikkim in 1932 and is the oldest heritage property in Gangtok, the property has played host to numerous celebrity guests such as his holiness The Dalai Lama, Hollywood stars Sir Richard Gere, Michael Douglas and Shirley Maclaine, the US Ambassador to India His Excellency John Galbraith and many more. The lobby is resplendent in the bright folk Sikkimese art with design motifs depicting dragons and flame symbols to thankas and ornate Sikkimese furniture (bachu, chocsue) and traditional jewelry.
We had a great time at this wonderful property. Right from check in , where we were upgraded as it was my mons Birthday. During tea time ,we were served tea with cookies and cakes which were too good . Dinner time ,the food , the service and the variety were top notch. The best thing I liked was that every day there was one local dish made entirely in thier local preperation and for me that was the best. Special thanks to Mr Sudip the restaurant manager and Mr Sushant and our bartender Mr Raghunath and thier complete staff for making our trip memorable.

Stayed in Family Room 221. 2nd bathroom was pathetic with damaged ceiling and dirty Floor. Room was not maintained at all. Was stuck in lift for 15 minutes and no one responded, luckily I was carrying mobile. Rotten fruits were served. Overall a worst experience in so called 5 star property..

Nestled amidst the green hills, the Bliss Village Resort at Biksthang, Mangalbarey, West Sikkim is in rural setting far from the hustle and bustle of city life, the resort is a perfect hideaway or refuge from the humdrum of daily life. Calm and serene, the resort entices you with its “blissful tranquility” as you sit in comfort and watch the majestic Khangchendzogna, the guardian deity of Sikkim and its lesser peaks standing tall from dawn to dusk.Birding in the wee hours, 150 species of birds available . Village tour through organic farms is a delightful experience.
Me with my family went to visit Mangalbaria, West Sikkim in this month. We stayed two days in The Bliss Village Resort (4 th & 5 th Nov'21). We enjoyed the beautiful Khangchenjungha and it's neighbours from our room. Rooms are big and the serving boy Mr. Wangchuk was very helpful. However, there is problem of mosquito and leech. They even don't provide mosquito repellent. I asked for mosquito repellent but the owner had blindly refused the existence of mosquito. They don't provide any sanitary kit or sleeper. Food quality was awful. They don't serve food in room at daytime. They accept cash/ net banking and don't accept cards for payment. Moreover the visiting places are quite far from this location. Except the location most of other things are not very comfortable for a traveller.
