Low-key Legian is the picture of relaxation. Just about the only action the beach gets is from the evening fire spinners, whose quick hands pass orange balls of light through the sky. Surfers, body boarders and sunbathers share the calm sands happily. There are plenty of markets, cafes and restaurants to satisfy your cravings for merchandise and meals. If you itch to mingle with locals, you might be able to join in the game of football that happens nightly on Blue Ocean Beach.

I’ve travelled many times to Bali and stayed at many resorts in different parts of Bali. I love the Padma Resort in Legian—it’s a beautiful resort with a beautiful soulful experience. Ardiana (“Ardi”) is a standout in excellent guest service. He’s engaging, warm, and wants to ensure your experience is the very best. He, and so many of the Padma staff are what makes the Padma a soulful experience. I’m so grateful for my time there. If you’re lucky to get to the Padma Resort at Legian, look out for Ardi…you can’t miss his beautiful big smile:) I wish him the best for his bright future in hospitality and tourism.

Couldn’t speak more highly of the Bali Mandira, such a beautiful place to take the family.. things in Legian are slowly opening up, so more and more to do each day. Tri who manages the reception area/team and delivers the yoga each morning is such a delight to deal with, ensuring all your needs are met. Her care, consideration and communication is amazing!

A resort where you feel out of the hustle of bustle, yet when you walk outside of the grounds you’re in the hustle and bustle. So you get both! The properties grounds are well manicured, the bedding is very comfy, the staff are polite and the day spa is top notch! Best massage of my life.

Recently my family of 3 have had the opportunity to stay at Away Bali Legian Camakila Hotel for 2 weeks. The experience was indeed an excellent one, surpassing our expectations in many ways eg in the food offering during breakfast, the superb service across all staff comprising of managers, general service personnel, security guards as well as cleaner staff. The hotel organised many useful activities to make our stay that more fun and meaningful such as yoga sessions, cocktail meet together etc. All in all, we are extremely pleased with the stay and would not hesitate to return to stay at this hotel in our next vacation to Bali. Special thanks goes to Widy, the Operations Manager who is competent, courteous and helpful. Thanks also goes to all staff in Away for a job well done and for giving us a memorable stay in Legian Bali.

Across the road from Kuta beach and handy to some great shopping spots, AlamKulkul Boutique Resort Bali is a refreshing, unique and tropical getaway possessing the ambiance of a Balinese village. The boutique resort is newly refurbished and looking wonderful with a simple yet stylish entrance and lobby.
I have mixed feelings about staying here , stayed for 4 nites last week and had some good and some mixed experiences here. Initially got a good rate and had never stayed beachside in this area before. Check in was mixed , we arrived at 2.30pm but our Lanai room wasn’t ready so went to get lunch and returned a hour later with more success. Our Lanai room was located down back overlooking the second smaller pool area , the room seemed to be a little more modern with a king bed , separate lounge chair and quite a large bathroom. The bed was pretty hard but we got used to it , bathroom had a large double sink and equally large shower and had complimentary toiletries. The TV only had 1 English speaking channel which was puzzling considering the amount of western guests. Wifi was as equally disappointing and I did hear many complaints from other guests throughout my stay. Breakfasts however were excellent and featured many options from the street side restaurant across the road from the beach…the staff here were very friendly and accommodating here every day , in fact all the staff here were excellent from the very happy security staff to the polite reception staff too. AlamKulKul is in a great area within walking distance to Melasti st restaurants and bars , Beachwalk shopping centre and the beach right across the road. Fix a few little things , even put a compendium in the room and this would be a great option.

I had written confirmation that the Hotel was going to refund 80% of my money for a holiday in August 2020. I have sent emails and they have bounced back. I am totally upset that a property like this doesn't have the decency to honour what they say. Watch the space when boarders are open and visitors can travel. How will the hotel act then!!! I encourage future guests not to stay here, as management doesn't have the guts to stand up and honour the money that is owing.

Perfectly located between Seminyak and Legian Beach, the resort is unrivaled in style, design and beachfront location. FuramaXclusive Ocean Beach Bali features lavishly appointed deluxe suites and elegant split-level penthouses with large private balconies. State-of-the-art entertainment systems, including flat-panel televisions, and WIFI internet access add to the resort's contemporary style. Be spoil for choice with two swimming pools, beachfront fine dining, bistro and tapas bar, business centre, O-CE-N day spa and 24-hour concierge.
My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a week in a ground floor room. After a 27 hour journey from the UK, we arrived at the hotel and were told that our room was not ready (despite arriving after check in time) and had to wait a while for the room. We thought the bed was comfy and the room was a good size. However, the rooms are not cleaned daily and therefore towels are not replaced daily. We saw lots of ants in the room and were bitten alive during the night by mosquitos. The bathroom was a wet room which is not ideal as the whole room gets soaked after a shower. The location of the hotel is ideal - the beach is on the doorstep. In summary, this hotel does the job, but if you're looking for luxury ... look elsewhere.

First tile Staying in legian and we are so glad we chose The Lokha. Great location , clean rooms, accomodating friendly staff and nice food. Staff bend over backwards and nothing is too much for them. The only fault we had is that we our room was near the stairs which was quite noisy in the mornings. That being said everything else was well worth it as well as it being very affordable.

I have been to Bali over 60 times staying in many hotels. Friends told me about this property so whilst here I booked for a few nights to stay. Once here I loved the place. My room was huge, clean and close to pool. The reception was a little hard to find as it is way down the back of the property. I decided to extend so went direct and the lady in reception was lovely. She even upgraded my room for the whole stay. Staff were all lovely. Will definitely come back here.
