Longview is a stunning family owned Australian vineyard located just outside the historic township of Macclesfield in the Adelaide Hills. Set on undulating slopes reminiscent of old-world estates but unmistakably Australian, it has quickly established itself as one of the most awarded vineyards since its 2001 inaugural vintage. Perfectly manicured vines, towering gum trees, gently undulating hills and big blue skies make up the backdrop at the stunning Longview Vineyard. Central to the Longview experience, our Cellar Door and kitchen stands as a bold expression of modern rural style and promotes Longview Vineyard as a key destination on the Adelaide Hills food and wine trail. Longview Vineyard is the prefect destination to escape! Our 4-and-a-half-star luxury Adelaide Hill’s accommodation is comprised of 12 king suites, our lovingly restored homestead accommodating up to 12 guests and a brand new Lodge, sleeping up to 8 guests. As well as our Cellar Door offerings, accommodation and venue spaces, Longview Vineyard has a new Day Spa which provides a unique wellness experience offering a variety of relaxing body and facial treatments with a focus on pampering, calming, and nourishing your body.
I have been communicating with Longview Winery for a while now as a possible wedding venue in 2023. I must say they been have so friendly and helpful with the process. I emailed them a bunch of questions about the wedding venue and they replied very quickly and with great detail. I look forward to meeting with them in person and seeing their beautiful winery !

Beachside Restaurant & Accommodation...
My fiancé and I stayed here for our anniversary as we were on our way to Adelaide. The huts were gorgeously comfortable and definitely had the beach vibe. The reason for the 3 stars was the overpriced restaurant on site. Meals were at least $40 each and a bowl of overcooked chips $13. They weren’t even hand cut, in fact you’d get the same chips down at your local fish n chip shop. The menus were laminated sheets of paper and the presentation was ok. If you’re going to charge that much for subpar food at least give the diner an experience. Proper menus for a start and cut your own chips. Don’t give your customers a bowl of over cooked chips from a frozen bag. We were very disappointed.

Bungaree Station offers a variety of heritage accommodation, ranging in size from 1-4 bedrooms. Bedding, bathtowels and breakfast provisions are provided. Activities for guests include audio tours of the historic station complex, animal feeding, bonfires and walking trails. Nearby attractions include the many wineries of the Clare Valley.
A great self guided tour of the Station. Interactive aspects also. Really enjoyed the Woolshed and Church and old cemetery. Would love to see inside the main residence but understand this is still used. Great for all ages.

Located in the Southern Flinders Ranges, Bendleby Ranges, which is a 15000ha sheep and cattle station, offers an Australian outback experience complete with adventure 4WD tracks, bush walking/hiking, mountain bike riding, horse riding, history, scenic views and abundant amounts of fauna and flora. Camp or stay in our homestead, cottage or shearers' quarters. Easily accessible and fly-ins also available. Perfect for individuals, couples, families, small and large groups.
Very expensive camping fees ($50 for 2 people for an unpowered site!! twice as much as most places in the area. Plus $100 per vehicle to drive the 4WD tracks - really!!! Good quiet camping locations, the showers are a bonus. Staff were friendly and very helpful. 4WDriving was good with a range of difficulties to suit all skill levels Signage and navigation around the 4WD tracks is poor with signs that indicate the wrong way and maps that don't show enough detail of corners. Corners that look like a cross road on the map, but are actually a T intersection, etc. Can be quite confusing. The walking tracks are poorly marked. We walked the Wallaby track travelling in a clockwise direction and after climbing up from the creek to the top of the saddle we lost the marked track. This critical area was poorly marked. We had a few anxious hours trying to find a landmark to navigate back to the start of the walk and just made it back before dark. This could be potentially dangerous for novice walkers as the country and the map provided is devoid of significant landmarks. The track was poorly marked leading up to the saddle on both sides.

Enjoy spectacular sunrises, listen to the waves crashing onto the nearby cliffs and catch a glimpse of a Sea Eagle whilst staying in one of two beautifully restored five bedroom Heritage listed Lighthouse Keepers Cottage at stunning Cape Willoughby on Kangaroo Island.
5 out of 5 for our family’s experience here. Spent Father’s Day here. We stayed at Seymour Cottage and it was huge. Sure it was rustic but that’s ideal for the location. It just added to the feel of the place. The lighthouse tour was fantastic and the guide very accommodating too. So many stars at night, so many rainbows and great storms! Thanks for an incredible time!!

Experience the history of the early pastoralists in these beautifully restored stone cottages. Peace and comfort beckons at the end of the day exploring Flinders Chase National Park, situated within walking distance of the Visitor Centre and the Chase Café. Choose from two bedroom May’s Homestead, built in the 1890’s or Postman’s Cottage, built for the visiting mailman. Relax and enjoy the abundant wildlife. Take a walk before sunset or sunrise to the Platypus waterholes lookout, where you might be fortunate to glimpse this elusive creature.
Honestly I don't recommend this place u will be alone in park in very small room size of toilet . No security no tv and also room smells like bats cave . If u want to go to toilet you need to go out of that room . We saw that room got scared closed the door keept the keys back we lost 75$ but we made good decision we head back to the emu bay homes excellent place to stay very hygienic well secure feel like home.

Experience a step back in time by staying in a beautifully restored 3 bedroom heritage listed Lighthouse Keepers Cottage at stunning Cape Borda on Kangaroo Island’s remote north-west coast. Other affordable options are available in Hartley Hut, a one bedroom cabin or rustic Woodward Hut, a bunkhouse for two.
Great place to visit .. but need more information on the road conditions as definitely 4wd or SUV required. Thanks to Mick and the fantastic Richard and Helen whose mechanical knowledge got us up and mobile to make it back to Emu Bay

We came to Wudinna to meet Geoff Scholtz And talented Rosie Ganf. A Gawler Ranges glamping trip at Kangaluna Camp. Jo and David, Chris, Christine, and also Sue and Graeme Were keen to visit places new - an ancient land unseen. Rosie drove and ironed the track - a 4 wheel driving course, Geoff cooked the meals - all gourmet treats - a view we'd all endorse. We loved the tents with handmade beds and hotties for our feet, Goannas, emus, kangaroos - a nature lovers treat. So thank you for a fabulous trip to a land unknown to most We'll tell the tales and show the pix to friends from coast to coast.

We decided to stop here after catching the ferry across the river. The drinks where cold and the view was nice across the river. The staff are very good to deal with and there is plenty of off street parking available.

Seven fully restored heritage lodges are available for short-term holiday accommodation at Inneston Historic Township, Innes National Park. Nestled amongst the mallee and ruins of the historic township etsablished in 1913, visitors can immerse themselves in the natural environment, and take a step back in time to learn about the gypsum mining history of the area if they are interested. The Managers and Engineers Lodges sleep up to 10 people in large houses furnished in a heritage style, and command stunning views of the township and the Inneston Lake. Whilst the Post Office and Mallee Lodges sleep 2-4 people respectively, have been restored more recently and feature modern furnishings adding a little extra comfort in nature.
A quaint old cottage which has been modernised within. I felt immediately relaxed entering the lodge. If you love nature and the outdoors but need your basic amenities or like me, travelling solo and want that extra security, I highly recommend! On my first day, I opened the bathroom windows, and right outside was an Emu father and his nine chicks. It’s also a great base as you’re in the centre of the NP. My only reasoning behind one less star is that I would’ve liked to have known there was a microwave and that there was no hand wash supplied.
