Castile-La Mancha, a Spanish land of craggy cliffs, golden fields and red soil, produces savory Manchego cheese, olives, saffron and more than its share of mystery. Chase the enduring legend of Don Quixote among the windmills of Campo de Criptana. Pass through the Bisagra Gate to experience the walled city of Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage site that pays stylistic tribute to the Christian, Jewish and Islamic cultures. In Guadalajara, palaces and Baroque churches capture the imagination.

One of the best hotel I have ever been. My partner booked a room for Christmas (Zarza) and couldn't been better. Big room with jacuzzi, 2 flat tv, big bathroom and amazing view. I have to say that the mattress and pillows are amazing. All the people involved on this place are A1, they went the extra mile to make our stay incredible. Thanks for everything, especially to Veronica.

Summary Lovely, peaceful hotel with gorgeous garden and pool. You can really relax here and all in all, very easy going. Good sized rooms, well maintained. Overall, recommended. The Good Rooms. We started off on the first floor but moved to the second floor suite with balcony. If you can get this room, then do so. The view over the garden is exceptional and you can see the surrounding countryside. Both rooms were surprisingly large. Hotel and Garden. Immaculately kept. The garden and pool area is exceptional, with a covered porch if it gets too hot. The pool is large. The grass well manicured! In one corner is a small games room with table football. There are a couple of mature trees in the garden which afford extra shade. The pool is well kept, clean and not full of chlorine… fresh and cool. The lounge and library are cosy, the dining room spacious. Reception. Very friendly and relaxed reception with an immediate tour of the house. You get the feeling that everything is open, not stuffy or formal. The bar is a serve yourself honesty system… which we appreciated. The Not So Good Dinner. We found the dinner to be quite poor. I suspect it was because they only cater to guests and there were only 6 for dinner. Nonetheless, we would advise to eat out (there is an exceptional bar/restaurant in Landete 3km away, look up La Tasca on TripAdviser). Breakfast was ok, lots of choice but nothing really good. The service was efficient and friendly. Observations Location. The hotel is easy to find, with ample parking 100m away. To go anywhere you need to drive. Not a problem as all the roads are well signed and virtually empty (even in August). Cuenca is an easy 90min drive, Ademuz approx 20mins.

We didn't find anything to our liking in Cuenca and ended up in this place. Considering what we paid, we got everything we could wish for. We had dinner there as well: tasty and plenty. Just make sure not to make the mistake of having breakfast in El Rento as well: it's basically coffee and supermarket cakes. You might have a some trouble finding El Rento: once you're off the autovia, you encounter different establishments. El Rento is one of them, somewhat off the (bumpy!) road, so don't drive further up to Colliguilla.

A lively little hotel in a gorgeous village. Our room was off a little courtyard, not a bad size with a big bathroom with massive walk in shower. Bed was a little hard for my liking, pillow, hard and fat, but this is personal. TV, and wonderful working air conditioner. A table and chairs would be a nice touch in the courtyard. Parking is available if you drive past the hotel to the end of the street, and parking thru the castle gates is probably best and it’s free. Our navigator took us to the back of the hotel so watch for that, the street is accessed from the square on a one way system. Perfect location stones throw from everything just a note proprietors speak no English, as does most of the village. Would definitely stay again.

This Casa is located in a beautiful small village called Peralejos de Las Truchas (3 hour drive from Madrid). It is a perfect escape to feel the countryside away from all worries in life. Chon's Casa is a marevellous wooden house which has been designed personally by the family itself. There are many details right from the moment you enter the terrace until you put your hands on the beautifully designed switches. The rooms are perfectly clean with a provision of hot water and a fire place for the double room. You may even find a secret window in one of the double bed rooms located on top of the roof to enjoy the morning light. There are many activities to do. The forest is worth taking a walk to see the unknown and enjoy the river Tajo' with the trouts hunting for food. It was a marvellous and an unforgettable trip !

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time after a somewhat stressful start. The hotel was locked when we arrived. It took some time to contact the owner who was in an area not well serviced by mobile phone. The owners nor staff did not speak any English (but why should they). Rooms are small but well appointed and could best be described as having quirky decor. I think we booked during an off season as breakfast was not available except for our last day (Saturday). After contacting the owner by phone a nearby staff member provided access to the hotel. Our host, when he arrived, worked hard to ensure our stay was enjoyable and indeed it was despite the language difficulty. Free breakfast on our last day was beautifully cooked and served. Not for 5 star travelers but recommended for slightly adventurous folk.

I organized a surprise birthday party for my mother end of November. We were a group of 10. Organization-wise it was a bit complicated because the attendants were arriving before my mother, and the hotel had to allow them to get into my mother's room, so when she arrived everyone would be there. They organized everything perfectly, they allowed us bringing a cake and they even cleaned the confetti we throw for the surprise, even if we wanted to do it ourselves. The place is simply amazing: the views (amazing sunset!), the cave rooms (big, beautiful, discrete, special, comfortable, unique!), the food (delicious!!), the beautiful and cozy fireplace and of course Vicente, always helpful, nice, smiley! He really runs the place!! I will certainly come back, probably in spring or summer time, to enjoy the horse ride, longer days and hopefully the swimming pool. Thank you for this unforgettable weekend!!!
