I was able to take a fantastic hour long ride along the beach with Viento Negro! The horses were great and the views spectacular! Cuadra San Fransisco was flexible with the booking when we had to decide between a one hour or two hour ride. I will definitely return on my next trip to Los Cabos!

We had an absolutely fabulous time. Kim was an excellent host. She picked horses for our experienced kids and for my husband and I who hadn’t been on a horse for many years. We rode down to the beach through the arroyos and back. And had an awesome lunch after. Thanks Kim!!! It was a highlight of our trip. We loved the ranch turkey “Tom”. We would absolutely do it again.

Provides opportunities for exceptional outdoor adventures, led by our knowledgeable guides, visitors can learn about the cultural, mining and natural history of the Sierra Cacachilas. Hiking, mountain biking, day tours, camping, overnight trips, wine and cheese tastings and organic gardening activities are examples of ways that guests can choose to explore the working ranches of Rancho Cacachilas.
We are a family of four and did the day mountain biking tour and it was awesome. It is challenging but we love mountain biking. You bike through the desert and canyons and the views are spectacular. Then you come down to a beautiful ravine with a creek where they feed you this lovely farm to table lunch. It is challenging physically but is not too technical. It exceeded our expectations and we would do it again given the chance.

Rancho Cactimar combines ecotourism, permaculture and renewable energies. enjoy breathtaking views to the sea of cacti and the sea of Cortez, we are located in front of the whaleshark observation zone. Come discover our desert, our beaches, we have 5 horses available for tours and kayaks for those who want to paddle.
We had a great time staying at Rancho Cactimar. The ranch is located in the heart of nature away from everything making it the perfect peaceful place to relax and enjoy the desert and the sea! The views are breathtaking. Horseriding at sunset over the beach and sand dunes was absolutely amazing. Jean and Marjorie are lovely and warm people; they took good care of us and made sure our stay was perfect!

Offers horseback tours of the spectacular desert landscape.
Our ride was arranged through our concierge at Paradisus which is where the ride begins/ends. Our first ride was an 0800 ride with Jorge who took made sure we had optimal opportunities for pictures of our ride with spectacular backdrops. The horses were well behaved and spunky for our group of three riders. We opted for a 1 hr ride that morning going east from the hotel and enjoyed the narrative by Jorge along the way. We booked an additional ride 1 1/2 the next morning and headed west toward CSL along the beach and enjoyed seeing the bat rays jumping as we rode along. Again the horses were well behaved and energetic. If you are an experienced rider there are opportunities to go at your own pace. We booked these rides as private rides for just the three of us but group rides are available as well. Would loved to have done one more! PS if you have a buffet be sure to bring an apple for your mount for the end of the ride! Long pants and shoes recommended

Rancho Laventa is one of the oldest ranch site in Baja California Sur and we keep it alive with our daily work. That's why it's so special, its not a B&B disguise like a ranch but it's a real ranch that offer a B&B service. With our live stocks, gardens, fruit trees, vineyard and winery cave, natural rock pool and sauna and our comfortable guests rooms the experience is unique. With 350 acres of property left to the wild we offer world class birdwatching, hiking and mountain biking as well as we offer relaxing wine tasting at the pool or at our 100 years old original ranch house. We host events like lunches, yoga and spiritual retreat, weddings and everything else you would like to celebrate in our exclusive location.
If you want to get away from it all and have an amazing experience, Rancho la Venta is the place. It is a working rancho with stellar hosts, livestock, a winery, horses to ride, and a pool that will knock your socks off. The setting and the scenery simply cannot be beat. Don't miss out.
