The Northern Territory (abbreviated as NT) is a federal Australian territory in the central and central northern regions of Australia. It shares borders with Western Australia to the west (129th meridian east), South Australia to the south (26th parallel south), and Queensland to the east (138th meridian east). To the north, the territory is bordered by the Timor Sea, the Arafura Sea and the Gulf of Carpentaria. Despite its large area—over 1,349,129 square kilometres (520,902 sq mi), making it the third largest Australian federal division—it is sparsely populated. The Northern Territory's population of 244,000 (2016) makes it the least populous of Australia's eight major states and territories, having fewer than half as many people as Tasmania.

We enjoyed 2 full-day tours with Outback Elite during our recent visit to Alice Springs (April, 2021): one to Chambers Pillar and Rainbow Valley, the other to the West McDonnell Ranges. Both days were magical experiences! We cannot recommend this company highly enough! The guides are engaging, knowledgeable, friendly and relaxed. The lunch and snacks provided are delicious. The destinations are beautiful. The cars are comfortable and the guides are safe and confident drivers in very difficult terrain. Our sunset visit to Rainbow Valley was a particular highlight - our guide Kimberley put together a beautiful evening picnic with sparkling wine, cheese, and other snacks. There was almost no one else there and we sat out in the warm evening air watching the rocks glow red and then fade as the stars came out. It was an unforgettable experience and the kind of thing that we just couldn't have made happen for ourselves (we aren't and never will be confident 4WD drivers, and even if we were, we would never have made such a beautiful picnic happen for ourselves). We hope to return to Alice Springs next year with our parents and when we do, we will be getting in touch with Filippo to arrange more touring with Outback Elite.

Total disaster. Arrived thismorning with my 22 year old son for trip of a lifetime. Trip promptly cancelled because no-one to greet us at the locked up Kookaburra Air starting point. Had to phone them to see what was happening. Got the weekend duty guy on phone. Think he was in bed. He knew nothing of our booked trip. He called his boss. He confirmed (after I had to call him back as was still in Uber clocking up the $$$) that his boss said “sorry” but they hadn’t received the booking from Viator/Trip advisor. Specifics: Booking was confirmed by email on 13/12 by Trip Advisor. $1780.00 taken from my visa for tour on 30/12. Booking reconfirmed yesterday by text with link to ticket. One day later - kookaburra Air knew naught? Don’t know who is responsible for the human and/or IT error. Regardless, we so so sadly missed out on what sounded like the trip of a lifetime. Cannot even try to do another day because of time constraints. We are so disappointed. Icing on cake. Trip Advisor/Viator have informed me they will not pay for the cost of my Uber to get to the “non-event”. I actually threw the Uber driver $30 cash in his window as he was leaving because he didn’t want to charge us for our trip back from Kookaburra Air to Darwin. On principal I will be chasing trip advisor/Viator down legally if they do not cough up the $31.00 Uber cost which they have said they will not cover.

This was one of the best holiday experiences I have ever had. Exceptional service and a great crew. Our pilot, Clint, made our day feel relaxed and safe (I was initially a nervous passenger). Clint’s knowledge of the area and professionalism was second to none. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Highly recommended .

The tour will depart from Darwin Airport, where you prepare for some of the most phenomenal sights anywhere in the world. Firstly, fly out over outback Australia, including the Kimberley region and, most noteworthy, the scenic north west coastline. Upon arriving in Kununurra, the tour will head towards the renowned Bungle Bungles. These huge sandstone towers were molded by twenty million years of erosion and weathering. This all lead to the stunning, multi-coloured pillars we see today. Moreover, seeing them from the sky is an absolutely unbeatable experience, as only from there is it possible to understand the scale and unbelieveable beauty of the ranges. Afterwards, the tour will lead you to a lesser known spectacle of the Australian Outback. Following the winding gorges of the Ord River, the tour reaches its pinnacle. Of an almost unrivaled majesty, the stunning Lake Argyle sits dormant. Revel in the beauty of this colossal freshwater lake molded by the ancient landscape.
Inclusions: Fixed-wing Aircraft, Window Seat, Free Parking, Bottled water, All Fees and Taxes

Yes, you read that right! This is a pub crawl by Helicopter. We have offered this unique tour since 2007 and over the years it has evolved into the Heli Pub Crawl it is today. This tour is not just about the pubs. It will provide an amazing look at Darwin and surrounds from above, the harbour and coastline, tropical savannah woodlands, cathedral and magnetic termite mounds, billabongs and creeks. We arrive at iconic outback watering holes with a rock star landing in your very own helicopter. You will be sure to hear your fair share of tall tales and meet interesting critters, laid back locals and the charismatic publicans that define each of the establishments.
Inclusions: Private Helicopter experience, Stubby Cooler
Exclusions: Alcoholic Beverages, Lunch
This was a real Bonza day out! 6 flight legs between pubs across some amazing terrain and views, made even better by the knowledge and commentary of our pilot Clint. Pubs are a great mix of NT watering holes and nice to kickback with a cool drink and take it all in. Absolutely recommend this tour and in its self a reason to visit Darwin. Well done Clint and team!

What an amazing experience we had on this tour with Simon & Rob! From the moment they picked us up in Alice, they were so friendly, accomodating, knowledgeable & fun! My partner & I were travelling with family and Simon & Rob went above and beyond to be inclusive to all the needs of the group (vegetarian, walking arrangements etc). We also had the most wonderful group & really jelled together to make a tour family which made the trip even more incredible. We are only sad that the tour ended so soon, wish we could have stayed longer! Simon & Rob had abundant knowledge on all aspects of the N.T, the food was delicious and plenty, the many experiences such as the campfires & walking tours were incredible and really added to the overall experience. We truly enjoyed our experience & we hope to book a Kakadu tour soon with Simon & Rob ! Thanks again guys :)

I do postcards with my drawings and budget tours to top attractions and hidden gems of Transnistria. Honestly, I can’t make Maldives of my country, because it is not Maldives. But i can make an unforgettable journey through all contrasts of what it really is - beautiful panoramas and impressive soviet lost places, curious history and nowadays life in the country that doesn't exist, combining classic walk with forays for true explorers and adventurers. Now I started virtual tour, it is a teaser, a sneak peek, but I made it as close to real tours as possible. Everything can be customized, there is no Stalinism, we will decide where to go and what to talk about along the way. Default route is 2 hours, I will show my favorite bits of Tiraspol and Bendery, first part - city, second part - urbex. You can use smartphone or notebook web-browser, and write your questions and comments in chat in same window. There will be jaw-down abandoned USSR places where I never took real tours before.
Inclusions: Postcard for the memory! Cards, magnets and maps made by the guide himself available for purchase!
Exclusions: Postcard set, magnets and maps of Transnistria available for additional price
Wonderful story to enter one of the most fascinating places on the planet. Anton explains aspects of the local reality and shows totally incredible images from different locations. It is entertaining and visually spectacular. Also, he is very attentive and his English is perfectly understood. Highly recommended for any type of public, both for lovers of Eastern European history and for the general public. You do not miss the hype!
