It was such an amazing trip by Forever Africa Safari and my guide Martha's hospitality was at 100%. She ensured everything as per my itinerary was done without any challenge. I was on an 8 day trip with the highlight of seeing the Gorillas, the accommodation was excellent at Bird nest,primate lodge. Proceed through Kigezi to Queen Elizabeth on this 5-day tour. Meet and greet at your residence at 0600hrs. An early morning start from Kampala takes you southwest and across the Equator. You drive through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredibly long curving horns. You then ascend into the Kigezi highlands, known as the “Switzerland of Africa”, with terraced farming and mountain scenery. Drive through to Bwindi. (Transit time is about 10 hours) You will then transfer to Queen Elizabeth where you will do game drives with excellent views of Lions, Leopards, Giant Forest Hog, Cape Buffallo, Defasia Water Buck, Uganda Kob, Topi and Bush buck. You will also have an exciting boat cruise on the spectacular kazinga channel. On day 5, After breakfast, follow the path of evolution to the home of Man’s closest relatives, the Chimpanzees, as you track them in Kyambura Gorge. Thereafter return to Kampala. Drop off at your place of residence.

The car they picked us in was very comfortable we got the journey wasn’t so long as numerous stops were made where we were willing to stop the hotel had a lot of customer care the meals were amazing whole trip was amazing I would do it over and over again ☺️

The Safari was my highlight for the year. The scenery is refreshing, people are amazing, the food at Murchison River Lodge was to die for. The Safari mates made the whole experience fun and memorable.

I went for a long weekend to Fort Portal with Arlanda. Well organised, good hotel, hot shower, a castle visit with history, local diners, a top of the world walk, hot springs, monkeys, fields with tea plants, mountains, views. I enjoyed all of the Fort Portal tour, which was great value for money and great hospitality of Hidaya and her team.
