The lively capital of Curacao is a welcoming, upbeat destination with two distinct historic districts divided by the lovely St. Anna Bay. Punda, site of neat, narrow streets, is crammed with shops and museums. Otrobanda, or "The Other Side," is a maze of twisting residential streets, contrasting with the organized grid across the bay. Willemstad's colorful colonial architecture has won it UNESCO Heritage site designations. Diving and swimming with dolphins are popular activities in the bay.

This is a very nice bridge to walk on. While walking on it, you swing very passionately same pase it does. The path is making a nice sound beneath your feet. The sound of the ocean you feel it in your bones as well. It's an easy 5 minutes walk but you will stand in the middle for 15/20 min for sure to be able to enjoy your sorroudings. On the Punda side, there is a huge heart where you can still hang a few locks. At night the bridge is illuminated with colorful lights. Very nice to see. Both sides of the bridge offers you where to sit and eat, from a hotdog till a 3-4 course dinner. For those on heels you, can find your way holding on the rails. The best Harbour I have seen so far. Very nice soroundings. Enjoy!!

Fantastic place to spend an hour, or more, while admiring art and the beautiful house of Habaai! They constantly bring in new art and talents so you can go again even if you been before. Discuss with Lusette, the owner and Curator of the gallery, she is a joyful, wonderful person who will tell you a lot of wisdom if you take the time! Thank you Lusette! Bought another piece of Curacao, like I did the last time. Please go, if you enjoy art!

Mambo Beach Boulevard is a unique concept for the island of Curacao. A strip that combines shopping, dining, entertainment and the best beach the island has to offer. The Mambo Beach Boulevard truly is the 'anytime' destination. It hosts the largest beach on the Island, with more than 50 stores, restaurants and activities spread out over two levels. Entrance and parking is free of charge.
Great shopping and restaurants on the beach. Quick, fantastic service with great food! The perfect tropical setting, exactly what we had hoped for.

The oldest fort on the island of curaçao and still in great condition and worth a visit. It’s free to get in and explore but the parking area is quite small and right off the road. Make sure to lock your car and leave nothing. The fort itself can be seen from a few miles sitting perched atop a hillside. There is a ladder inside so you are able to climb right to the top and have a breathtaking view of the ocean below. The original cannons are still sitting atop the tower and are quite amazing to look at. Just a short drive from Willemstad but so worth it.

A beautiful old fort that still has its original walls to walk on and take in the view of the ocean and cruise ships with several high end restaurants and shops in its interior. It was very nicely decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed strolling through and window shopping. Lots of great photo opportunities!
