I had the pleasure of having dinner here recently in the second-floor restaurant, Tosa Kura. Although Kochi prefecture is well known for its seafood, the sunny climate also makes Kochi one of Japan’s top producers of tomatoes, eggplants, green peppers, ginger and yuzu (a delicious citrus). If you or someone in your group are vegetarian or vegan, the restaurant is only too happy to accommodate them with advance notice. There is truly something here to delight all palates, and the beautifully presented food looks every bit as good as it tastes. Local wines and sake complete the experience. The first floor has a wide variety of Kochi food and craft products for sale. While a trip to Kochi should be on everyone’s Japan travel bucket list, the next best thing is a visit to Marugoto Kochi! The shop is easy to spot because of the regal statue of the samurai Sakamoto Ryoma outside. One of Kochi’s most influential figures in the 19th century, Ryoma has become a well-loved symbol of the prefecture, and the statue makes for a nice photo op, too.

It is located on 8th and 9th floors of Tokyu Plaza Ginza. As the largest duty-free downtown store in Tokyo, it features over 200 top brands with competitive price.

Situated in Ginza area and quite easy to find. Lots of great products to see while you check out the different levels with the latest products, some of which are not available in Canada yet. Also have the Nissan auto store on bottom level with concept cars for the future and ones coming into market in the near future. Worth the visit.
