Of course this is kind of a tourist trap. Anyhow, we liked the food and the show. It is a nice thing to do, but kind of expensive, especially considering that for the price no drinka are included. You will have a broad variety of food (beef/pork/fish .. ). I don't know if this is typical African but it tasted good. Anyhow- as it is very touristic and too artificial we wouldn't do it again.

It was a very good, very informative experience. Trevor taught us a lot about the city and nature, he is a very pleasant and very professional guide. He knew how to share with us his love for nature and his village. The segway visit allows you to take your time and make a really interesting and quiet visit. Do not hesitate to plan this pleasant activity.

Vus and our guide were great. Pick up at hotel and a short ride to entrance where we were met by our professional guide. Great experience. Though you can do it on your own, it’s best to have a guide who knows the history who can point out details you would miss on your own.

Then, head to the Chobe River and board a game viewing boat for a wildlife cruise. Look out for animals like hippos, flamingos, and aquatic birds in their natural environment. Eat lunch at a riverfront restaurant (included), and then hop on a safari vehicle for an afternoon game drive in Chobe National Park. You must give yourself this experience!!! I cannot express strongly enough that this is a must-do experience when you come to Victoria Falls. Seriously, if you go to Victoria Falls and don't do the Angel or Devil Pool at Livingstone Island then you missed out on something truly special. So you know what to expect, we started out on the Zimbabwe side and travelled to Zambia. If you don't have enough entry's on your Visa then it will cost USD$20.00 for the Zambia Visa and USD$30.00 for another Zimbabwe Entry (when travelling to Victoria Falls Zinbabwe I recommend getting the multi-entry Visa) You drive out to near the top of the falls where you are taken by boat to Livingstone Island. At every stopping point I couldn't believe how close we were to the falls and we kept getting closer!! On the island you are taken by guides out to the main event and words can't describe how amazing this is. Be sure to take some USD bills with you to tip your guides - these guys literally risk their lives to take memorable photo's (on your camera) - so show your appreciation!! (Breakfast was OK - but you're not doing this experience for the food haha!)
Your evening begins with pickup from your Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe hotel. After a short drive, arrive at the boat put-in to begin your Zimbabwe Falls dinner cruise. Choose your seat at one of a limited number of tables. Candles and flowers set the scene for gourmet Zambezi-style cuisine, freshly prepared by an onboard chef. Enjoy sunset views from the open-sided boat while you dine, and keep your camera close by to capture the incredible views. This tour doubles as a Zambezi River safari with opportunities to sight animals like hippos, elephants, and crocodiles. Once the sun fully sets, your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.
Inclusions: Dinner, Bottled water, Air-conditioned vehicle
Exclusions: Parking Fees, Gratuities

What makes this area (and indeed this Victoria Falls activity) unique is it's "specials". These are bird species that are not only rare and elusive in other parts of Southern Africa but often only occur along the Zambezi River's mighty water course. Some of these specials include Rock Pratincole and African Skimmer both of which are seasonal migrants, nesting on the sandbanks and rocks along the river. Dickinson's Kestrel are often seen high in the Ilala Palms that line the banks. while the legendary Pel's Fishing Owl call the large dense Mahoganys that cluster the islands their home. The secretive Half-Collared Kingfishers, frequent the overhanging trees along the banks. These over hanging branches also home the even more secretive White-Backed Night Heron and rare African Finfoot. Seasonally, Osprey can be seen searching the waters for fish and the rare Grey-Headed Parrot can be heard screeching as they fly over head.

In all that there is to do around Vic Falls you might easily to miss this unique experience. Don't - unless you're seriously bothered by heights! In an amusing, highly informative and very engaging presentation we were given an unusual angle on the Falls. We learnt about the Victorian engineering pioneers who made this key link in the proposed Cape to Cairo Railway possible and we appreciated, at first hand, the skills and the bravery involved in delivering it. An absolutely unforgettable visit amongst all the excitement offered by one of the world's greatest natural wonders.
