Contacted the night before by email and message at front desk of hotel to confirm times & pick up.Picked up from our hotel at the time stated relatively new mini bus with air conditioning. Bus held 12 only 6 on tour. Cold water provided. Scenic drive out to My Son with the guide pointing relevant points of interest as we drove to site (about 90 mins). The site was empty on our arrival (just before Covid 19 hit a number of countries had already stopped their nationals travelling). The site is small but worth seeing. We had to take an electric bus up to the site from the car park I would have preferred to walk as it was less than a mile. The guide was very informative and answered any questions brought up by the group. We had nearly 2 hours walking around and then back on the bus to Hoi An. We asked to be dropped in the Old town not at our hotel which the driver and guide facilitated. We had considered renting a scooter and making our own way there but it is quite a considerable distance, the weather very hot, traffic intimidating and roads are not always hard surfaced. Worth the money

Chose this tour company thru my canadian travel agent. Excellent choice. It was a private tour. Our guide, our driver my husband and I. It was a good choice considering the covid 19 epidemic. From beginning to abrupt end of our tour we had excellent knowledgeable guides and top drawer accommadations. The tours were well planned and gave us a good understanding of their homeland and what made them proud. We had time to investigate things on our own as well. Unfortunately we had to leave one week early but plan to return one day. We would not hesitate using this company again. We are in our 60's and our activities met our abilities. Felt safe and well informed with necessary changes. We were given a refund for places we were unable to go to

Walking around the fish market you can view the wide variety of fish on offer. Enjoy also watching the lively commercial activity of locals competing to get the best deal of the day as they buy fish straight from the fishing trawlers coming back after days at sea. In the dawn light you can capture amazing photos of the market activity, the beautiful Thu Bon River and the Cham Islands. Enjoy a Vietnamese coffee as the sun rises, signalling the start of a new day in beautiful Hoi An.

Vincent took care of everything! It was a long ride from Hoi An to Sun World's Ba Na Hills amusement park but he made it fun and the minutes disappeared into thin air. Throughout the park, Vincent made sure to take my picture - which is very important for a solo traveler - and made sure that I did not miss one inch of that park. I was exhausted but happy and so glad that Vincent was my driver and guide. I could not have asked for a better one.

Thousands, no, ten-thousands tourist fill the streets of the old quarter. It's even hard to see the houses behind the enormous crowds. 90% of the buidings are shops, restaurants, cafés and snackbars. OK, 10% are more interesting. There are some genuine, authentic Chinese houses but most houses are recently renovated and not as they once were. You can also have a short ride in a small boat, called 'sampam', with a lighted lamp. But is this an authentic, well-preserved untouched Vietnamese harbour town? No.

We booked a Localgrapher for a couples shoot in Arizona. The results were okay at best, and we regretted not seeking out an established local in the area. For the price, we received 60 very average choices and the ability to select 35 shots. We couldn’t even find 35 framed correctly. The localgrapher website is also a joke which requires a youtube video to figure out. The UI is terrible and the photos will disappear rapidly so do not wait to download (set aside a couple hours - that’s how bad it is). But really, just avoid. Hire someone directly.

Our tour guide, Hai, picked us up from our hotel in a hotel shuttle and took us to the edge of the old town in Son Phong area, for our first taste of the local food. The first was a street vendor with Banh Khot, a tiny egg pancake filled with shrimp, served with greens and pieces of pork. The next stop was in Tan An, in a lane where the modest little restaurant served Banh Beo, steamed rice cakes with shrimp paste and topped with strips of fried pork skin. Another street vendor, in Minh An opposite the the Catholic church, sold us Che Me Den - Black Sesame soup - a strange, sweet, but unattractive cold dessert. Then in Cam Pho we we stopped for Cao Lau, Hoi An's signature dish - fat rice noodles, slices of barbecued pork, pork crackling, bean shoots, greens and soup stock. These noodles must be made with water from the Ba Le Well, the town's original water supply, which Hai also took us to see. After a walk through Tran Phu street, the main street full of interesting temples, shops and old houses, we stopped briefly at the market for some White Rose dumplings and something that looked like Vietnamese style nachos. Eventually we ended up at another small family restaurant not far from the Japanese Bridge that served what Hai called Vietnamese pizza! It was really Banh Trang Nuong, a rice paper circle covered in quail egg, dried shrimp, ground pork and spring onions, then topped with greens, chili, cucumber, sprouts or whatever, rolled up and dipped in fish sauce. It was a long and very filling 'progressive dinner' and a great experience to do when visiting Hoi An. We would never have discovered some of these places and dishes if it wasn't for Hai's guidance.
