We've attended Verdi's Requiem opening and loved it. Acoustic in Family Circle is awesome, seats are pretty comfortable, and subtitles machine helped to better understand the masterpiece. Also the interior of the theater and the concert hall is very impressive and worth visiting

We thoroughly enjoyed this performance chronicling the careers of Franki Valli and the 4 Seasons. Great music, energy, and acting. This off Broadway show is totally first class and the venue was much more intimate than some of the big Broadway theaters. Go see it.

Steve Cohen's Chamber Magic

Previously at the Waldorf Astoria, now at New York's historic Lotte New York Palace hotel, Steve Cohen has distinguished himself as a state-of-the-art magician and mind reader. Performing for celebrities, royalty, government officials, and other VIP's, he pulls off his illusions with intensity and class-and has received widespread media recognition and praise.

Steve Cohen has his show perfected-and it is an incredibly memorable one! He combines a great mix of slight of hand and telepathic tricks, while engaging the audience and keeping everyone on their toes! This show was a "parlor" show, so very intimate, which I prefer. Steve has been at this for many years and it is clear he loves what he does. In addition to his magical talent, he is very charming and funny so attendees are fully entertained. Definitely a show not to miss!

It gave me the feeling as if I were transported to the Globe Theater of Elizabethan England and I was part of the rabble in the pit at the front of the stage. But more hilarious, closer, more fun, comfier, better service, and better drinks. DRUNK SHAKESPEARE WAS BY FAR THE BEST OF OUR FOUR DAYS in NYC!!! HANDS DOWN!!! EVERYONE IN OUR GROUP AGREED!!! GO! AND BE DELIGHTED. Josh Hyman is hilarious, yes, that's his real name, and I should know, I touched his butt. Myself and two of my fellow late 50's girlfriends attended the 6pm on Sat. 7/20/19. We had just arrived in NYC for a 4-day visit that afternoon. It was the first thing we did. Our four days were packed with seeing the Broadway Show Beautiful, a two hour pedi-cab ride around Central Park, A luxurious lunch at Tavern on the Green, attendance at a taping of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and attendance to Live with Kelly & Ryan, all that in addition to hours and hours of walking and seeing some of the quintessential Manhattan landmarks like the M&M Store, Times Square, etc. etc... Yet Drunk Shakespeare gave us all the most JOY of all our adventures. It will remain our favorite memory from our trip. Yes, it is racy. Yes, it is crazy, Yes, you should be ready to be involved to maximize your fun. But it's also fun to watch ;-)

Went to Monday Night Magic last night. It was great. The acts were very high calibur from the comical emcee to the opening, middle, and closing act. The close-up magic during intermission was icing on the cake! There was a nice variety among the acts--a skillful, manipulative act to music; a knife throwing act that was very exciting & amazing, and a comedy magic act that was fun and astounding. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous magical evening! Dan white was clever enough to create a wonderful virtual magic show that was as good as his performance at the Nomad Hotel. I loved that he mails everyone a black magic box that must sit unopened til the performance. The contents are all fun and mysterious, opened during the course of the evening. Dan is quite the Showman with an engaging personality and his magic is top notch!

Ain’t Too Proud

Reviewed By betsy1224

As a big fan of the Temptations and Motown groups in general, I was anxious to see Ain’t Too Proud. Those wonderful songs and talented cast made for an enjoyable experience. This is the fourth “jukebox musical” I’ve seen, and it’s much more dependent on the music than the acting of the other three. While everyone sings, the character of Otis does almost all the talking. Pretty thin plot, but if you’re going for the music, you won’t be disappointed.
