Nyoman Suarsara's art class is just perfect. He is such a generous and thoughtful teacher. He is extremely patient and helps guide you throughout your art journey for the few hours you are with him, encouraging you to take breaks and just enjoy. He really takes pride to teach you his techniques and for me, I just wanted to keep going because it's so relaxing (he plays soft Balinese music as well) I really enjoyed every minute - he picks/drops you off, provides all the materials and really makes it hassle free. His studio is a short driving distance from Ubud central. Definitely book his class!

Thank you Aex for a wonderful afternoon teaching me my first official watercolor painting that represents the essence of joy. Personally, I enjoyed how meditative the experience was. Each stroke teaches me something deeper about myself. Aex is authentic and inspiring, feel free to chat and ask him about Ubud and his life story. He is detail oriented and are able to share many skills and techniques. If you are a beginner like myself, do let him know so he can guide you to what is a good fit for you.

My friends and I had so much fun at Bartega Studio's private painting class. What's great about Bartega is that they not only have public events during the weekend, they also cater private events with custom themes of paintings that we request! The staffs and teachers are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and we had tons of fun :) Highly recommended!
