I like megalo kavouri (big crab) mostly because is still free with good blue waters. The surrounding environment reminds a lot island with many pine trees and sand hills!

Ok, so a bit crowded for Aug., 2020. A line about 30 people deep, but it moved quickly & before you wmknow it, we were in. Absolutely beautiful beach, sunbeds for 5euros, bathrooms and changing rooms. Also a Bar and limited menu, but great. Also, we took a car from Athens this morning for 30 euro, but you could also take the bus, but I think it would take about an hr.

Great beach, lovely warm beautiful sea for swimming. We arrived about 10.30 on a week day and got two sunbeds in the front row for 30 euros, so good value. I think pre booking and weekends are more expensive. Nice lunch and lovely staff. Food and drinks can be delivered to your sunbed if you require by pressing a call button. A great way to spend the day, facilities are great, good showers, hairdryers etc. We watched the sun go down an amazing view from our sunbeds!

After a couple of days in Athens we decided to go the beach to relax. We went with the metro (metro line 2) to the end station Elliniko. From Elliniko we took the bus 122 to Vouliagmeni. It was easy and took about an hour. The trip costed us 1.4 euros. At the beach we rented a safetybox which was stuck on the parasol for 2 euros. The entrance fee was 3 euros (we got student discount otherwise the entrance fee is 4 euros or 5 euros in the weekend).

We have been here every weekend, its great for people who want to have a swim chilling on the comfy sunbeds:-) A plus is the rest that can u bring something to eat right on your sunbed(must try the squid with pesto sause).Clean sundy beach with swallow waters, children can play safely along the two lifeguards watching over. Not cheap, but what u pay is what u get:-)
