Last month my family and I took a trip to visit one of the tourist attractions in South Kalimantan, precisely in Aranio. So, here is a beautiful hill called Bukit Batas which has a direct view of the Riam Kanan Reservoir. Bukit Batas is located in Bukit Batas Village, Banjar Regency. To get there, from the city of Banjarmasin it takes about one hour and 30 minutes to travel. After arriving at the jetty, we had to park the vehicle near this pier at a cost of around IDR 10,000 per car. We are excited to go up the hill while enjoying the super charming view. The view from the top of the Bukit Batas at a glance reminds us of the view in Raja Ampat. Although it is not as beautiful as the view of Wayag Island in Raja Ampat, many visitors call the cluster of small islands in the Riam Kanan reservoir seen from above the Bukit Batas as Raja Ampat.
