We start our tours with a short instruction session on shore, then work with you while out on the water to ensure you are getting the most out of your experience. We provide bottled water, a small snack and take lots of digital photos while we are out on the water. We modify our routes to account for wind conditions and where we've been seeing wildlife. We paddle in the mangroves off the main Indian River Lagoon, which provides us with rich wildlife and bird sightings. We never guarantee manatee or dolphins will be in our area, since they are wild animals. But, we try to go to areas where we have seen them in the past few days. We launch from a privately owned boat ramp off of A1A and Old Florida Trail rd. The launch facility has bathrooms, plenty of parking and is well maintained. In addition, the facility is listed as a Florida Historical Site.

As the closest surf shop to Florida's most famous surf spot, we try to bring the vibe of a Costa Rican hideaway to the Atlantic shores of Florida. Situated between the ocean and the Indian River Lagoon, we teach comprehensive surf lessons, rent surfboards, SUPs, fat bikes & other gear and have an outdoor training area we feel is completely unique. We stock local brands, support local artists and musicians and are heavily involved in the local community. We work closely with Surfrider Foundation, the Barrier Island Sanctuary, the Friends of Sebastian Inlet State Park volunteer group and the Brevard County high school surf teams. We also have a store within a store in Archive Books and Records, a resource for vinyl, CDs and vintage books. All in all, our goal is to live up to our calling card as "A surf shop like no other."
We recently moved to Melbourne Beach and I’ve enrolled my son and surf camp to encourage him to explore the different water activities to do. He loved it going to surf camp and even was able to get up a bit by the end of the week. The instructors were very encouraging to him and happy to report on how well he did. Max also enjoyed the land practice surfboard balance thing. I would definitely recommend this camp.

Dee Kaminski is the owner of Reel Kayak Fishing Charter. She is committed to offering the best possible guided inshore kayak fishing experience on the Space Coast and Treasure Coast. She invites you on a kayak fishing trip to remember! The waters here offer the best opportunities for sight casting to tailing redfish and trophy trout in the clear waters of the Mosquito Lagoon and in the Indian and Banana River Lagoon. Year round fishing offers the chance to tangle with redfish, snook, trout, black drum, as well as many other inshore species. Whether you are a beginner or experienced angler, she promise to give you a memorable experience. Kayaks are quiet and unobtrusive affording anglers to get up close to Florida's wildlife. You will see many species of birds and fish, plus you may encounter manatee and dolphin playing in the water surrounded by gorgeous scenery.

Off A1A and south of Melbourne, FL on the way to Sebastian, this city park is situated on the beach. First off, there is plenty of parking. Second, clean and well appointed bathrooms allows for a shower and bathing suit changes. Third, outdoor showers to rinse sand as salt from everything. Then you get to the boardwalk. Nice, broad wooden ramp to allow wheelchairs, fishing carts etc., access to the beach without hassle. And the view is just stunning when the sun is up. You can clearly see different shades of green and blue water with birds all over the place. Hungry? No problem. "Billy's" mobile eatery serves excellent food right there. We have yet to see the beach dirty. It is a safe environment for families with a few gazebo's to rent for a special event. Hats off to the city's Parks Department!
