Private boat trips from Henley-on-Thames. Ideal for special occasions, or just to enjoy the scenery. We operate two boats, both ideal for groups up to 6 people: Eliza Grace is a modern dayboat, Hebe is an Edwardian-style launch. You have the choice to be chauffeured by our skipper or to 'self-drive'

Nestled on the outskirts of the beautiful market town of Henley, one mile away from the River Thames, Henley Golf Club is the outstanding course in the area and is one of Oxfordshire's finest pieces of natural golfing terrain. Henley Golf Club offers peace, tranquility, customer service and a rather special golf course.
We often eat at Henley Golf club. There is always a special board in the bar and a good choice of bar meals. Good portions and a good friendly service. The golf course isn't bad either.

‘Hobbs of Henley is situated on the banks of the River Thames in Henley and is steeped in history and tradition. Boasting 5 generations of experience and 2 Royal Waterman amongst their staff, nobody is better placed than them to help you discover the beauty of the River Thames. Whether it is aboard one of their large luxury passenger vessels for a private or corporate party, hiring one of their motor launches for a self drive adventure, sipping champagne aboard one of their Edwardian or Olympic launches, a sightseeing trip along the Royal Regatta Course or a luxurious boating holiday….there really is something for everyone. Or if you are looking to buy a boat but not sure about the commitment then Hobbs of Henley launched a new luxury membership boating scheme last year – The Henley Boat Club. This scheme is an opportunity to enjoy a fleet of beautifully maintained self drive motor launches without the hassle of ownership and the costs involved with this. Henley Boat Club ‘Membership Boating’ is the easy way to take to the river whenever you want to safe in the knowledge that your boat is maintained and looked after by an experienced family business with over 147 years of boating experience’.
Attended a wonderful anniversary party for my in-laws. The vintage tea was beautiful and all the staff were amazing especially the captain, who professionally and kindly talked and educated the few children on board about driving the boat. It could not have been more perfect!

Henley On Themes' rich history and culture is the perfect setting for a balloon trip. The main street has many Georgian frontages built on to older buildings. There are many coaching inns including the Red Lion, which, so legend has it, has accommodated Charles I, Boswell and George III - ensuring a memorable experience you'll cherish for many years.
