I heard about the place on TA, and otherwise its quite impossible to figure out such a niche place which is actually unexplored. There are hardly few visitors during the whole day and so the beach is also clean. I belong to Rajkot so its actually in our vicinity, hardly 200 kms from my place, but I must say Nature has gifted a precious gem to the region but needs some buckup from tourism dept and society ofcourse. The beach is of clear and blue water, serene nature at its best. It comes on Rajkot Dwarka Highway, 25 kms before Dwarka, its is on the LHS of the Road. There is one Tortoise Park also by the Govt but it was non operative. Roads and Parking place is good availability and walking distance from the beach. Nice for the photography lovers, atmosphere is very calm & pleasant. The visit will add worth to your visit to dwarka. Nearby no facility available so better to carry whtever needed. Approx. 2 hrs duration can be spared which I think is enough. It can be scheduled on the return from Dwarka visit as it comes towwards Rajkot. Meals are available at Madhuram Hotel which is hardly 20-25 kms from the beach towards Bhatia which is in itself a good option.

In a trip with family from Somnath to Dwaraka I saw this quiet beach about an hour or more from Somnath. It is right off the highway. It is a quiet uncluttered beach, which I saw at around 10.30 am. There hawkers with gaudily decorated camels who give a camel ride at around Rs.50 to Rs.100 per person. Walking along the beach is a worthy experience, even for a busy traveller who wants to rush to the next destination.

Had our family reunion in Feb and spent one day at Nargol beach. We prepared most of our food with only Bafle to be rested at the beach. The beach is lined with rows of cajurina trees which provide nice shade.By the time bafle were getting ready had a walk up to the water and my brother played trumpet. It was a memorable day .The best part is the cool breeze that soothes us even in the afternoon .I highly reccomend this place fir a day picknic.Carry prepared food and water.

Madhavpur (Ghed) is a small but culturally significant village in the state of Gujarat, India. It lies on the seashore, in between Porbandar and Veraval. According to folklore, Krishna married Rukmini at Madhavpur after first kidnapping her. This event is memorialized with a temple dedicated to lord Madhavrai and by an annual fair held in the village. Every year, for five days from the day of Ram Navmi, a cultural fair is organized mainly on the background of religious belief of Krishna getting married to Rukmani. A colorful chariot is decorated and the idol of Krishna is placed in the chariot and a procession proceeds through the village as a part of celebrating the event of Krishna's marriage. Village people throw colors at each other as part of the celebration and also involve joyful dancing.
