We used Passion Adventure early August 2020 and did the 10km trip from Brengues to Marcilhac as a family. We had already done the trip on a previous year with a different company so knew about the weirs and chutes, and places where you might need to push when the water levels are down, none of which present any particular difficulty. We went up to Brengues in a minibus (everyone wearing a mask...) and the driver stopped at different places along the river to point out any tricky parts. When we got to Brengues, there were quite a lot of other canoeists but everything was done carefully and professionally. Oars were given out according to the person's height (not just chucked at you at random as experienced with other companies...) and one member of staff gave us a humorous but informed briefing about how best to use the canoes. I speak French so I can't comment on their English. We had a great day and saw kingfishers and lots of other wildlife. It cost us 60 euros for 2 canoes.

Breathtaking is the word I would use to describe our very first sighting of this incredible town, perched high on the rock face. The Chateau, the clock and the town dwellings were just a few of the things visible from the car park. We walked to the town and once you step inside, we were amazed by what we saw. The churches, the walk down into the town, passing the Stations of the Cross, the magnificent architecture of the whole place is just stunning. There are shops, cafes, restaurants, even a train ride. For us this place was the icing on the cake. Truly impressive from start to finish!!
