A huge outdoor obstacle course in a well-maintained arena. Over 36 obstacles with easy/hard options making it suitable for all abilities. Recommended age 6 upwards. Choose from open play sessions, kids clubs & bootcamp. Also kids parties, stag/hen parties, corporate days and private hire. Easy access & free parking, changing area, toilets & toddler area
Both my children (age 8 and 12) absolutely love it here! There’s plenty of obstacles for them to try - and all the instructors are great and really encourage them to do their best without being pushy. I’d highly recommend to kids of all ages and to adults (although I’ve not tried it myself!). It’s excellent value for money and great to have somewhere local where the kids can be outdoors, get some exercise and have fun!

What a great day out we all had when we went to the outdoor pool in Letchworth. We’ve lived in the area nearly all our lives and NEVER been before...what a mistake!! We’d usually favoured Hitchin, but Hitchin gets overcrowded very quickly and since the building works there are no grass areas to sit out and enjoy the space...but Letchworth Pool still has all the charm of a 1950s lido, lots of space to sit and enjoy a picnic and relax, the pool and changing facilities are clean and the water looks like it is properly managed, even in hot and busy periods. We had a great Sunday there. Unless you like junk food though, I’d take your own picnic with you as the selection was fast food and limited.

Drift Limits Motorsport Academy is the London based venue for Supercar experiences, Drift Experience days, Stunt Driving and Under 17's learner driver tuition. We cater for gift experiences and offer gift vouchers for the general public, private & corporate events, filming and promotional launches. Located in Hemel Hempstead, we have carefully crafted a portion of Bovingdon Airfield into a dedicated driving facility, with three unique circuits and links to professionals across Racing, Drifting & Stunt Driving.
Had an absolutely fantastic day, which was beyond my expectations. The front of house introduction to the day was informative without being too pushy and the driving experience was superb, mainly thanks to the excellent commentary of my instructor James P.

I took my walking group round the middle lake, Bury Lake en route to Ebury Way and Croxley Common Moor. Never seen it so wet, with water pouring in one side from the canal and out at the other towards Stockers Lake. But this was still the magical experience it always is, no matter what the weather is. Beautiful lakes, lots of wildlife, majestic scenery, paths for walkers, a great modern play area for smaller kids. There’s a waterskiing club for enthusiasts and for spectators. The Cafe on the Park is one of the best public park cafes I know. The free car park is big, but very busy at weekends and bank holidays. A fantastic public facility.

When the Grand Union Canal was cut though Apsley, it put the town on the main trade route to London. Today, the old towpath serves as a wonderful cycle route. Apsley was once an important centre for paper manufacture. The Grand Union Canal transported huge amounts of raw materials on barges to the paper mills here. Full-scale production of paper only ceased in the Second World War. Today, the old industrial buildings are now cafés, pubs and a visitor centre - and make a great day out.
