Barcelona feels a bit surreal – appropriate, since Salvador Dali spent time here and Spanish Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí designed several of the city’s buildings. Stepping into Gaudí’s Church of the Sacred Family is a bit like falling through the looking glass - a journey that you can continue with a visit to Park Güell. Sip sangria at a sidewalk café in Las Ramblas while watching flamboyant street performers, then create your own moveable feast by floating from tapas bar to tapas bar.

I wasn't sure what to expect, I am terrified of heights and so is my son! The people who run this company are amazing!! They encouraged us, took time to talk us through and show us every detail before we actually went up. From the driver Danny to the pilot Danny, everyone was awesome! The flight itself, I have no words for. It is something that my family will remember for a lifetime! There is no other way to explain, you have to see for yourself!

The bunkers are a former Spanish Civil war gun emplacement that sits above Barcelona, and has superb all round views of the city. It is open 24 hours a day and is free. Getting there does require a certain level of fitness as it is a long and steep climb. It was well worth the hike though as the views are simply outstanding.
