The tour with Hida was amazing! My now husband proposed to me on Grand Bahama with the most beautiful proposal ceremony. Hida helped him to plan the perfect proposal location and all the details. She knew the island like the back of her hand, all the special/ romantic spots we could go to, the best picture spots, everything! She went out of her way to make sure every detail of our proposal went off just as planned. Hida is very passionate about the island and its people. She knows many of the locals which gives the tour a homey sense. She is extremely flexible and will provide the tour that you want- just ask her! Hida has become a part of me and my husbands love story. The story of our day with Hida became the focal point of our wedding ceremony as it was one of our favorite memories together. Hida, thank you for helping us have the best proposal story. We are truly grateful for the effort you put in. I highly recommend doing a personalized tour with Hida and getting engaged on Grand Bahama island! Cant wait to come back to our special little beach!

Let me start off by saying that if you are in the Exumas, this is something that you will most likely do. It is easy to find a tour guide from Great Exuma to get you here, or if you are staying further north on the Exuma chain, you can take your rental boat to Pig Beach quite easily. It is a unique and fun adventure for the entire family (and I mean everyone from toddlers to their great grandparents). I've been visiting the Exumas for years, and during that time, I've learned the key to seeing them in the best way is to get their early before the tours start. Once everyone is awake and moving around, this area becomes somewhat of a tourist trap. And once there are a lot of people there, it really just becomes a mad house of people feeding the pigs. You've likely seen the photos on social media of the young piglets. These are not usually there. There are always the large adult pigs (people are often surprised at how large they actually are) and usually a few younger pigs, but rarely are there actual baby piglets. Not to worry, though! Because the babies aren't swimmers yet, and watching the big boys and girls swim is a sight to see!

Booked over the phone for our 11/28/19 trip. Reserved parasailing and snorkeling for my wife and I +3 teenagers. The peer where we got on the boat was a few minute walk from the main meeting market where cruises get off. From the start when we met Misty at the reception booth, to our guide the boat captain Kenny it was a truly great experience. After parasailing we did snorkeling, then had lunch at the private beach then cruised around to the local side of the island where we met some locals and ate fresh konch salad. Kenny showed us all the beautiful sights and talked about the buildings on the island along the way and who owned them. We never felt rushed al all - he pretty much catered to all of our needs throughout the day. Definitely recommend this excursion.
