Very close to train station, this onsen town must have seen it's limelight in the 80s. With that said, it was still very charming and easy to navigate. The hotel is slightly older however it is still wonderful. Room was large and clean. We had a private bath in our room. The public bath was clean and wonderful and my daughter and I always had it to ourselves! Please note that the mens and womens onsen switch sides everyday. Yep, we were in the mens bath one day when the women at the front desk entered, helped us dress and then told me that we were in the mens bath!! Walked out with the entire staff waiting for me and my daughter. I was so embarrassed but they were so gracious and accommodating. I think the maintenance man that checks on the baths spotted us. ugh. Good story we can tell our friends. Stay here, staff was super friendly, accommodations are wonderful and the food was terrific. We only had breakfast and I wish I would have booked the dinner. PS-there is also a masseuse on property. Limited hours but great!

This is the first visit and I try in Ito. I do not like the traditional room I have. Old and facing to the empty swimming pool is a bit scared to me. I went down to the other side of the ground floor which looks really relaxing area that I do not know from the booking site. There looks like only for local or Japanese to stay in. It is not the dine in room. Service is good in the restaurant and food is impressed. However, I may not think to stay again unless if I can try to reserve the ground floor side.

This hotel is a rare find in Japan. The rooms are huge and have a spacious balcony and a view of the beach. The decor and vibe is similar to a boutique mid-range level brand like a Marriott. While they were not open during my visit, this property also has amenities like a terrace and a swimming pool, plus a traditional Japanese bath. The design of the property is like a mid-century modern design and is clean and spacious. Highly recommended.

Booked 3 days before my arrival and was all paid for(very expensive). Received confirmation of the room availability the day before the trip. On the day of my reservation, I started my long trip to the hotel. I called the hotel to verify the time I will be arriving. Hotel states that they canceled my room because they overbooked. Hotel said they called the website I placed my reservation that they canceled the room. I never heard anything from the website saying it was canceled so I called the website where I made my reservations. The agent said the hotel never contacted them and they even called the hotel for me to verify what was going on. The agent contacted me again and apologized and said the hotel could not do anything for me since it is overbooked. I had to cancel my family trip basically already halfway to the hotel, as the website could not find any accommodating hotels with the same amenities on short notice. So from my understanding the hotel just canceled my reservation without any notice. Very bad customer service for the price paid.

My wife reserved the place as our next overnight trip. As we were approaching and I saw that the area is full of small pensions I started to worry that we'll end up in another house hastily converted into a pension by some people who had no other idea what to do with an empty house... There are quite many such places in Japan and while not terrible they are just like staying at your relatives'. "Luck" surprised me from the start with a very friendly lady who greeted us, showed us to our room and said they would start cooking our dinner right away. The room was very bright, fairly spacious (for Japan) with two beds and a balcony. The balcony with ocean view also had s shower and a bathtub! The dining area is quite small and cosy. The food was super delicious. Fresh sashimi, cooked 金目鯛, the speciality of the area, and sauted beef which was simply melting in my mouth but definitely wasn't even a bit overcooked. The beverage selection was very good too. Beer choices included two local craft beers, Heartland beer (one of the better products of Suntory) and one of the main Japanese brands. The place also features hot springs. One is inside the building. It's not a natural hot spring but still does the job. The one outside is a natural spring and offers a very nice view at the ocean. Recommend going there again early in the morning. Both baths can be taken for personal/family use so for the time you're there it's all yours. Summarizing the place is very good, y the food excellent and the bath as good. Perfect for a quick getaway as it's about 2 hours by car or train from Yokohama.

お部屋や客室風呂は満足でしたが、接客やルームサービス、お料理も全体的に高級感がなく微妙でした。次は多分ないと思います。

Hotel
We stayed there for two nights last week, with our two pets. The pets had a lot of fun at the pool and in the dog run, without forgetting the onsen. The facility is not the newest and most comfortable, but it was good value for money, with good food and nice staff.

We went as a family trip, with my elderly parents who live in Japan. Because we stayed during the peak season, which was the New Years, we paid crazy amount of money (over $4000 for 2 nights for 3 adults and 2 kids). But it was THE worst vacation I had ever taken. Here are the reasons why: -Too many stairs to get to the hot spring baths. -Strong tabacco odor despite it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. -Very few towels. If you want more, you must pay, without refunds. -Very unfriendly staff, really not service-oriented. -They will charge for ice cubes during the day. -WIFI available only in the lobby area. -A cameraman comes to take pictures during the dinner magic show. Because he made us pose for pictures, my kids missed the magic finish and she cried. Not thoughtful, but only thinking of making money. (The pictures and key chains of children were sold in the lobby after.) I am trying really hard if there was anything good. The only good thing I can think of are the baths with aquarium with either sharks or sea turtles. I will never ever recommend this place to anyone.
