Definitely worth climbing these stairs, not only for the great views of Old Town, but also for the amazing panoramic view of most of the city. From here, you can see the national stadium, Palace of culture and the skyscrapers. For a really small fee too!

The Panorama of Toruń observation platform is a perfect place to get a panoramic view of Vistula River and Toruń and is ideal for photo opportunities. It was quite busy at the platform on the day of our visit as it is such a nice spot along the river bank. From the viewing platform it is a half an hour walk to the Old Town and about a 10 minute walk away from Toruń Główny railway station.

It is the tallest building of the city – at the time when it was built it was the 2nd tallest building in Europe with 231m – and it is still the highest building in Poland It is a gift to the people of Warsaw from the USSR and got built in 1952 and opened in 1955 It resembles Moscow’s’ Socialist realist tower blocks and is a symbol of the soviet domination You can pay and go up to the 30th floor the “Taras”: and there we had and amazing view.
