The Somerford Arms, a cosy village pub specialising in local produce to create delicious traditional food with a contemporary twist for lunch and dinner. As a Free House, choose from a selection of real ales, a variety of wines, soft drinks or fresh coffee.
Wonderful Lunch , toad in the hole and beef pie can both be throughly recommended and Fred the pub dog makes a great lunch companion . Felt completely relaxed and COVID safe in the pub, this may have been our first visit but won’t be our last

If tonight is our last pub visit in months, it was well worth the trip to this amazing jewel in the crown (excuse the pun!). In the current climate, the atmosphere could have been somber, but there was a party feeling even though we all kept to our social distancing. The bar staff, B, created a fantastic night, suggesting local craft ales that delighted the palate. I was also informed that during the government shut down for pubs, takeaway beverages are available from 5 to 7 each evening. I will be back and hopefully this establishment will make it through the next few months. Five stars easily.

I visited, oooh, ten or so times when I was working in the area in Jan and Feb 2020 - a very friendly Pub with good likeable staff - apart from the inevitable 'Spoons' the cheapest beer in Town and cheapest doesn't mean poor either, in fact the opposite - a great place to stop for one or two 'Sherbet's' while on the way to the Station. Need I say any more.......

A modern micropub and freehouse specialising in modern craft beer served in the best condition alongside a range of real ciders, artisan spirits, wines and soft drinks. Exceptional customer service is offered and conversation and quality products in a comfortable atmosphere. Owned by the same people behind Stealth Brew Co in Melksham and The Vaults Ale House in Devizes. 4 handpulled real ales and 6 keg taps. The only true independent pub in Melksham town centre.

Our 14 Bay undercover Driving Range complete with Toptracer technology is the perfect venue to visit whist in Salisbury. The facility is open to everyone, with or without any golf experience and with each bay equipped with a Toptracer screen that tracks every shot you hit, why not try out the Longest Drive & Nearest the Pin Challenges or maybe play a few holes around St Andrews! Each bay can take 4 people, golf clubs can be supplied and we have instructors on site to assist you if required. Inside we have an open plan Coffee Shop and Lounge Bar, serving Costa Coffee, homemade cakes, hot and cold snack as well as a variety of beers and ales. Seating is available in the main lounge, conservatory or outside in the garden. Salisbury Golf Centre is situated between the stunning Cathedral City and the picturesque village of Wilton. Easy access, lots of parking and the warmest of welcomes await you.
Highly recommended for non-golfers who want to have a fun day out and made even better by the top tracer technology that tracks your progress on the range. With the added technology it helped a novice like me build upon my skills by giving accurate insights into my swings. The golf centre itself was very welcoming, with some great spaces to sit and hang out after our session. The owners and staff were incredibly helpful, making sure we had what we needed and were on hand to answer any questions.

A Speakeasy located in the heart of Swindons Old Town. Serving fine spirits and cocktails in an intimate, friendly environment. Velvet booths and subtle lighting emphasise the tasteful design within the old Victorian bank building.
Had a lovely socially distanced brunch with unlimited Prosecco and pornstar martinis . The venue is cosy and very welcoming inside . I especially like the funky artwork and decor . All the staff completed their tasks with excellent customer service. Will be going back again to try more of their cocktails .

River Bourne Community Farm is a working farm which is open all year and FREE to enter making it accessible to all. This is a great opportunity to see a working farm and to get up close to the farm’s animals: pigs, sheep, alpacas, donkeys, goats, Highland cattle, ducks and a range of poultry, chicks and small animals such as guinea pigs and rabbits. Children can hand feed the animals for just £1. Feed is available from the Small Animal Barn. The farm has free parking. New additions to the farm Spring 2019 are ‘Two Wise Owls’ who will be bringing their birds of prey the farm. You will be able to get up close to the birds, watch them flying and learn all about them. The farm has a shop and a warm and cosy cafe on site with indoor and outdoor seating areas. Free range eggs and farm meat are available in the farm shop as well as a range of other produce and gift items. The cafe sells hot and cold drinks, cakes and lunches. The shop and cafe are open from Tuesday–Sunday from 10am to 4pm
Having two granddaughters who are animal mad, I took them to the farm. Lovely walking routes take you through the various areas beside the river. They were enamoured of the calves and sheep but especially liked the animals they could feed, the donkeys, goats etc. Plenty of interesting information about the animals and places to wash hands.

This pub is a great place. The best gin and tonic in town! The service is great, the landlord is a lovely bloke and everyone is friendly and fun. I’d go to this pub again and again, proper living!

Our local and amazing food, what more do you need? Hats off to quickly adapting during lockdown which meant we could still get our hit of Mustang chicken (a must if you haven’t been here before). We haven’t had a bad meal in or takeaway. It also handy having a couple of kiddie meals too for when they don’t fancy curry but the parent do!
