Wilmington is a vibrant riverfront city and the most accessible coastal area in the state. The pedestrian-friendly Riverwalk winds along the Cape Fear River, connecting many of the city’s shops, cafés, and nightlife with waterfront hotels, parks and the Port City Marina. Annual festivals, such as Riverfest, Wilmington Beer Week and the world-famous North Carolina Azalea Festival, attract crowds year-round. Three nearby island beaches offer even more dining, attractions and water sports.

Just your friendly locally owned and operated neighborhood tavern with 16 taps dedicated to locally craft beer. The best place to catch a game with 8 big screen tv's, get cozy with friends in our private booths, and a one stop shop for tasting all that Wilmington breweries have to offer.

I came in alone. If you go to a bad bar, this can be an awkward experience. However, both the bartender and other patrons were open to talking - the sign of a top notch place. This place is known for their old fashions, and they excellent at preparing them. They smoke the glasses, which is a first for me. The bartender sets a plank of wood on fire then puts the cup over it to capture the smoke. You may not think this would have much of an effect on the taste, but you would be wrong. It really adds depth to the cocktail. I ended up having a couple other high quality drinks, but the old fashioned was the stand out.

What a great time my wife and I experienced! This is an upscale spot although you will be comfortable if you “come as you are” (as is the case in most of the Downtown Wilmington establishments). The people are friendly and the various artists that perform are fantastic. One thing to keep in mind is that there is a very limited amount of food available (possibly only cheese and crackers)
