South Africa’s most popular tourist destination offers the urban thrills of Cape Town, its adjacent wine country and an aura of the rich political history of South Africa. The Overberg's perfect whale-watching perches provide excitement of a different nature. The Garden Route's lakes and forests and the Klein Karoo's ostrich-farming towns and vineyards present another take on the Cape. For extra kicks, try bungee jumping or cage-diving among Great Whites.

I have been frequenting the lesser known bars and restaurants of Cape town for many years. I love to socialise and meet people and would love to show visitors the interesting places away from the usual tourist areas. I will show the you some of the inner city's best kept secrets in a big night out. And if you can't remember much of the later stages, there will be photos to refresh your memory!

We are a tour guiding company that is dedicated to doing something completely unique. We aim to move away from the main tourist attractions and look to show our guests the best kept secrets that Cape Town has to offer. By avoiding the main tourists attractions, we provide an authentic experience as we ensure that our guests get emerged into the location and the culture of the places we take them. We show our guests what the locals enjoy doing on a regular basis...we show them our perspective of what this beautiful city has to offer.

Experience various street art tours and hands on experiences in the hipster area of Woodstock and the largest township of Khayelitsha. Guests can choose to get involved in tours that allow them to get their hands dirty -whether it be through painting or gardening- and feel accomplished after their tour knowing that they left a permanent mark on the culture they engaged in.

Alexander Bar, Cafe & Theatre is Cape Town's buzzing conversation bar. It's filled with old-world charm and innovative touches like old fashioned phones which you can use to order a drink or to chat up people at other tables. Upstairs there's a 40 seater theatre which is Cape Town's busiest stage with more than 10 performances per week - check the website and get discounted ticket prices if you book online. The kitchen serves great light meals til midnight and keep an eye out for fabulous daily specials.
My wife found these reasonable priced tickets for a pre Valentine celebration play. It was a very casual evening. It was not well attended but we really had a good time. Will recommend for a budget evening of good value entertainment

Having tasted Brampton wine earlier on our trip, we made a beeline here for lunch on our arrival in town. The service is excellent, and very friendly. The food was that good, we came back again for lunch the next day. The highlight was the wine - perfectly chilled sauvignon blanc. And all at astounding value - the best value lunch we had on our whole trip. Majorly recommended!

A friend told us to visit the hotel and the leopard bar to come and watch the sunset and wow was he right. The outside terrace is the place to watch a daily treat of the sun going down. Truly amazing. The bar itself is brilliant, loads of staff catering for your alcoholic needs. Very friendly despite the posh surrounding and as the RAND is cheap the the mighty pound it’s very reasonable too. Definitely recommend a visit, we also had tea at the grill room (see separate review) again very good and well priced.
