Move over bowling... move over darts. There's a new game in town! Axeville is an indoor space designed where people can indulge in the sport of axe throwing all while enjoying some of the amazing local craft beer, wine and cider selections that Beer City has to offer. Perfect for birthday parties, bachelor / bachelorette parties, corporate team building, company outings and so much more!
I had my first experience with axe throwing last week at the Axeville Axe Throwing Club. I did this with a group of friends and we had a blast. This venue is excellent, especially for first time axe throwers. The online reservation process was simple and straightforward. The staff was committed to teaching us how to throw and gave us pointers throughout our time at the club. So if you are in Asheville and want to experience something new and different you need to try out the Axeville Axe Throwing Club! Cara Winstead

The Virginia Beach Winery is a family run business that grew out of a passion for making wine at home. The wine is made the same way we’ve always done it. Small batches cared for by our family. We believe wine is at the center of celebrating, and we love creating the flavors of our events. Ask us to take you through a free tasting to find your own favorites! Free wine tasting every weekend!
My wife, daughter and I went there on a recent trip to the Sandbridge area for vacation. My wife, who normally does not like sweet wines, really liked the Moscato and the Beach Blackberry. We wound up buying four bottles to take home. Well worth your time.

Located in the famous 1880 Oriental Saloon building in the heart of the Tombstone historic district, Wyatt Earp’s Oriental Saloon and Theater pays tribute to the personalities who lived and died in frontier Arizona with live daily re-enactments showcasing the men and women of 1880s Tombstone. The Oriental Saloon is a landmark like no other in "The Town Too Tough to Die"-- it's been many things over the years, from a drugstore to a steakhouse, but it's best known as the headquarters for Wyatt Earp and the nervy band of gambler-lawmen who cleaned up the West, from Dodge City to Tombstone! Belly up to the hundred-year-old bar for some wonderful Old West atmosphere and hospitality-- we've got everything from sarsaparilla for the kids to stronger stuff for mom and dad! We'll see you soon here at the Oriental Saloon in the heart of Tombstone, Arizona! Step out of your car...and take a step back in time!
Best show ever!!! The man playing Wyatt Earp looks just like Sam Elliot. Very very entertaining show. Don’t miss it!!

Stone’s Throw Brewing is the product of four guys—Theron Cash, Brad McLaurin, Shawn Tobin and Ian Beard—who met in the local homebrew club, the Central Arkansas Fermenters. After doing most of the work themselves to turn a century old building in Little Rock’s MacArthur Park Historic District into a production facility, they began brewing operations on July 4, 2013 and opened an onsite taproom on August 1, 2013. Stone’s Throw Brewing specializes in small-batch, artisanal beers that are both creative and drinkable. The Stone’s Throw Brewing MacPark Brewpub & Biergarten is open to the public Tuesday-Thursday, 4-9 pm, Friday 4-10 pm, Saturday 12-10 pm, and Sunday 11 am-9 pm. Weekly events include Game Night at 6 pm Tuesdays, all night happy hour Wednesdays, Free Trivia at 6:30pm on Thursdays, new beer releases every Friday, brewery tours at 1 & 3 pm Saturday & Sunday, and beer to go during regular business hours including Sundays.

The Cincinnati brewery and tap room take you back to the late 1800’s, when Bad Tom Smith ruled Eastern Kentucky, with a cozy vibe, built for conversations, good times, and great beer. Eighteen taps provide Bad Tom Smith’s full portfolio of beers including seasonal’s, collaboration and single batch brews from our Ohio City Brew team. Quality bourbons, cocktails, wine and other spirits are poured with Bad Tom Smith Bourbon coming in the summer of 2020. Our tap room seats over a 100 with our bar seating 20 and our lounge includes comfortable group seating, a dart board and a variety of games. Six TVs provide patrons with something to view, along with a 120 year old bank vault that houses barrels and casks of our Bad Tom Smith bourbon that continues to age. In addition to our classic Bavarian Pretzel, snack mixes and peanuts, our on-site partners Zablong Peculiar Pizza, serve pizza, wings, salads and cauliflower bites that pair perfectly with our beers.
Very well done in and up and coming neighborhood in Madisonville. A really large selection of beers on tap.

For something different, I recommend a mead tasting at the farm's Honey Bee Winery. I had never tried mead before, so I relied a lot on the information provided by the staff, who were well informed, patient, and engaging. Walker Honey Farm is off the beaten path of tourists, especially for those seeking wineries, but well worth the effort if you're in the area. In addition to the tastings, there is a large selection of interesting food products: oils, honeys, jellies, etc.
