Southwest of London is Southampton (Soton to the locals), a metropolitan area centered around the port. However, tucked away on the side streets are ancient gems such as the Tudor House, Mottisfont Abbey, and "God's House," a museum located in a tower in the medieval wall. The ultra-modern Sea City Museum celebrates Southampton's seafaring past and the RMS Titanic. Looking for nightlife? Travelers can dance the hours away with bars, clubs, and live music, all accessible by public transportation.

What a fantastic experience. Without giving too much away you’ll arrive wondering where on earth you have come, and leave wishing you could stay longer! Take along your favourite spirits and the talented bar tenders make fantastic bespoke cocktails, catering for all tastes. There isn’t a Mojito or Sex on the beach in sight! The intimate Art Deco setting is the perfect venue, a live singer added to the ambience and all staff were really attentive. Special mention to Harley, our personal cocktail maker - thanks for 6 delicious cocktails (apart from the one with Barcardi ????) Would thoroughly recommend Bring and Mix for a fun evening out.

The Wellington Arms is a traditional Real Ale House with up to 12 ever-changing real ales on at any one time and a wide selection of wines, spirits and ciders too. The kitchen serves up delicious homecooked food all week long at a reasonable price. We have weekly events running such as quiz night on a Thursday and live music every Saturday night, and plenty of other celebrations throughout the year as well.
It’s traditional for restaurants here to offer a Sunday roast plate. You just pick the protein. I had the chicken and my husband had the beef. Both were amazing. Best Sunday roast ever! Touring Duo

The Tap room for CrackleRock Brewing company. Just across the road from the brewery. With 9 cask ales and 7 keg ales there should be a beer there for you. We also have a huge range of gins and vodkas - and like our beers, wines and spirits are all available as tasting flights if you just can't decide!
A lovely little real ale "tap room", warm and friendly, 4 of their own real ales, can be bought on a "paddle" if required , wines and spirits and lager!! Also available, very pleasant place to visit

The Witch's Brew is a micro pub offering cask ales, ciders, wines & soft drinks. Comfortable, cosy & friendly. Beer garden at the front.
Was tipped off about this micro pub by my parents. Having got to know an excellent one where I live it’s nice to find this for when we visit Southampton. Great little pub, superb range of beers on offer, 5 real ales plus numerous wines and ciders. Friendly host, collie and locals all make you feel welcome on the first visit, it certainly won’t be the last. The ambiance is relaxed with the existing walls of the building providing neat snugs and an intimate feel. A most welcome find.

I was introduced to the Guide Dog by some die hard Saints Fans a couple of years back during a visit to Southampton. Its a must visit for us anytime we are back in Soton. A wide range of beers are served in this great pub and its a relief to find a proper pub instead of the brewery owned chains so commonly found in the UK

Absolutely wonderful welcome, and servicefrom the owner, Nicky, and her staff ..superb food -notable dish: cod with a spicy sauce both perfcetly cooked, v good lamb (served pink) well presented locally grown fresh vegetables... well kept local ales too. Th owner is a 'committed' dog lover which is a plus, the setting is also v authentic un chi chi and genuine .. like the owner.. As an ex Egon Ronay inspector this was one of the best pub experiences, in every sense, I have ever had - outstanding ..bravo les filles !!!
