Once a vital part of a mighty sea power, Positano is today a sophisticated resort on the central Amalfi Coast. Moorish-style architecture rises up steep slopes that gaze out on the Sirenuse Islands. Smart boutiques, selling fashions for visitors to display on Grand Beach, abound in the village. And it’s a great base for exploring the area—you can easily travel by boat to Capri, Ischia and the Grotta dello Smeraldo cave.

Rooftop bar in the heart of Positano with beautiful views and a lot of smiles, open from sunset until 01:00 AM. A brand new food menu is available!

Initially went for breakfast when we needed something quick before the first ferry to Amalfi, knowing the no table service policy was bound to speed us up. And it was so good we went back for drinks that night! Breakfast was great-pastries, coffee and fresh juice at a fraction of the price we paid elsewhere-and with a view of the beach!! The same goes for the aperitif we enjoyed in the evening. Although there is no table service, service at the bar is friendly and the cost saving involved is a plus, more change for drinks with a great terrace and beach view. Highly recommended!

This was honestly the most fun we had in Positano, small club, you feel like you’re inside of a cave. Great music.

An al fresco bar with a difference. Positano’s newest watering hole is not just another seaside bar. An elegant raft suspended above the sea, vibrant with the colours of the Amalfi Coast, it represents, in design and details, a unique convergence of talented artists and craftsmen, assembled here to pay tribute to the man whose impeccable taste did so much to define the signature style of Le Sirenuse. The result is a contemporary al fresco bar with an old-fashioned, quality-first drinks menu; a place for amore, for friends, for a post-swim aperitif, for quiet contemplation of all that beauty.
I was in Positano for 10 days solo for my Birthday and couldn’t t wait stop by here. I Follow Franco’s Bar on instagram and they it is by far the best place to see the sunset!! Even though I never made it lol, I went later at night after I’d have dinner. Unfortunately the best night I went it started to rain and they had to close. I went back though because it’s worth it and so beautiful! Especially there very artistic FAMOUS Giallo Fontana!! Best Peach Bellini’s in Positano!!!! Great music!!! Definitely going back on my next trip!
