Art Deco Theater and Vintage Bar set in the heart of Little Germany in Bradford. Home of the best late night live entertainment. Bradford Playhouse is a diverse Theatre venue, offering a wide range of different environments and Theatre spaces. From intimidate acting venues, all the way to a grandiose Theatre stage.
On first impressions of the Playhouse I thought it was very shabby and run down and in dire need of National Lottery funding. The bar area was interesting......more shabby than chic. That said, the warmth and friendliness of all the staff was really nice and I was impressed how they took particular care and attention to people with mobility issues etc. The pantomime itself was excellent, great cast especially Buttons who gave Billy Pearce a run for his money. The drinks in the bar and ice cream in the interval were very sensibly priced I thought. I thought it was really lovely that the cast were down in the bar after the show posing for photos etc - a really lovely touch. I only booked my ticket a few days before the show after reviews from work colleagues and I am really glad I went - a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

The Brick Box rooms is a live art venue, bar and social space for all. We have a small cosy bar which is open four days a week, and a larger gig venue next door which is open for special events. The Bar is free to enter, and some of the events in the larger room have a door charge. We have food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

We have been to this place a few times and the craft ale selection has been outstanding from day one! Really superb selection and Varanasi on week on week. To add to this the food menu kicked in for 2020 and what can we say - we are addicted. Tasty, well spiced, cooked to your taste with added spice - if requested. Jimmy and his staff have done a great job and even better they listen to customer feedback and suggestions. Always feel welcome here and the owner has time to chat and mingle. Thank you - see you soon!

Called on a whim, really glad we found The spotted cow. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Good varied menu with something to suit all. We had the burger and Turkey baguette. Side of chips was also ordered as an add on to the baguette. Food, was hot very tasty. The turkey just melted it was so tender. Burger had lots of flavour and we were really full. Homemade chips were so good. Good food, good prices and friendly staff. Worth a visit.
