This city on the central Vietnamese coast is a well-preserved example of the important Southeast Asian trading port it was from the 15th-19th centuries. Already a common stop for backpackers, it is becoming better known to tourists. On the 14th day of each lunar month, the town trades its electric lights for traditional colored lanterns. Sights include the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Quan Cong Temple. Let the town’s expert tailors make you some bespoke clothing.

So I booked this ‘ tour’ yesterday by a man. We also had contact by WhatsApp were he promised my the tour. The tour I booked was: 2 dives! Each dive would takes around 45 minutes. Now I only did 1 dive ! You even can’t call it a dive. It was only 10 minutes and the staff was just pushing you under water ! Also they put my hand in the coral, that is not ok!!! I paid 2.000.000 for this !!!! And this was only from 9:00- 2.00 .,and just to let you know , we did nothing !!!!! I also couldn’t join the lunch , if I would I had to pay 200.000 more. Crazy!! Other people at my boat ‘ only’ paid 600.000. What is actually also to much!!! And they had the lunch included ! I am so angry. At least I want to get my money back. Thanks for this horrible day! Side note - I should do this dive by blue coral diving. That is what he told me and I booked. Didn’t see anything from that tour.

The Bana mountainous Hills , which stands at the altitude of 1,487m above sea-level, has an average annual temperature that varies between 17 and 20°C (62.6 - 68°F). Each of the four seasons appears within a single day in Ba Na: spring in the morning, summer at noon, autumn in the afternoon and winter at night. One particular characteristic is that the clouds are at the mid-height of the mountain, so the peaks are always clear. Ba Na also possesses very beautiful forests with green pine hills that why it is home to a former French resort built in the early 1920s, which once boasted 200 villas, restaurants, and clubs. Its temperate climate, unspoiled forest, and spectacular views over the East Sea and the Lao mountain range made Ba Na a popular place to retreat for the French and wealthy Vietnamese.

My son and I had a fabulous time on the cooking class. We were taught by Ai and Cindy and both were really friendly and informative. We started with the coffee tasting, then a trip around the market to buy our fruit etc and then off to the cooking class, where the food we cooked was fresh and delicious. Both the ladies were really friendly and helpful and are a real asset to the company. We would highly recommend this trip.

Our family had a wonderful tour of My Son with Andy. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the temples, but he also spent the ride to My Son from Hoi An explaining all kinds of interesting tidbits about Vietnamese culture and history. We had our 21 month old with us, and he was very patient. Even explaining things twice so that one of us could stay with our son and take turns going up areas where it would be hard to navigate with the stroller. We basically had the area to ourselves as tourism hasn’t quite bounced back yet from the Covid season.
