Bali is a living postcard, an Indonesian paradise that feels like a fantasy. Soak up the sun on a stretch of fine white sand, or commune with the tropical creatures as you dive along coral ridges or the colorful wreck of a WWII war ship. On shore, the lush jungle shelters stone temples and mischievous monkeys. The “artistic capital” of Ubud is the perfect place to see a cultural dance performance, take a batik or silver-smithing workshop, or invigorate your mind and body in a yoga class.

Taman Anyar Balinese Experience is ordinary balinese daily life, you will learn how to be balinese people. start from farming process, learn about balinese house and temple, make offering, cooking class, make coconut oil and enjoy lunch with dance performance. the best way to avoid touristic place and start with traditions.
A definite must for anyone visiting Bali. This is one of the trips which my husband and I took during our 11 day stay in Bali and it was by far the best. After visiting the local school and meeting the lovely children, we were welcomed into this traditional Balinese home and were made to feel so at home. What a memorable day!

We visited here one afternoon and we loved this place. It was very quiet with a few bus tours. The village was clean and very unique. We walked through a number of the yards in the village and we found the locals were very hospitable and friendly. We chatted with a few of them. Each home usually sells something which is one of the ways they support the village. We bought some snacks from one and souvenirs from another. We chatted with one villager doing bonsai in his yard. We love how unique, quaint and clean this village is. The even have some "home stay" units where you can stay for the night in the village. I heard they were about ~ IDR 375,000. Depending on your tastes, staying for a night might could be an option to experience the village first hand. Will highly recommend for a visit.

Desa Bugbug is one of oldest Balinese village in Bali, strong Bali culture, with everyday Balinese culture lifestyle. Bugbug village is located in east of Bali, has beautiful panorama and beaches such as Candidasa Beach, south bugbug beach and the pasir putih beach, call virgin beach Bali.
Gate of Paradise Maybe not many people knows, that Bugbug Village has a heavenly beauty that hasn't been exposed too much. The view is incredible, to the north we can see a panoramic view of Mount Agung, to the east side we can enjoy the sunrise over the White sandy Beach called Pantai Bias Putih, to the south side we can see the small island of Byaha and the island of Paus and to the west side we can enjoy the beauty of the hills around Candidasa. There are still many places that are not widely known for their beauty. And you can also camp on Asah Hill while burning the firewood, enjoying the beautiful night with the moon and stars. Wow amazing! I never seen a beautiful panoramic like in Bugbug Village. I recommend you to have visit and enjoy this natural environmental. I will come again. Miss Bugbug village too much.

This peaceful beach is well known for its wealth of seafood restaurants.
Pick out your fish from the mornings haul (you can watch the fishermen earlier, 6 - 8 am) and they will cook it for you and you can sit on the beach at a candle-lit table and watch the sunset.
