A Totally hands on adventure! Forest Falconry is based on our exclusive 12 acre woodland site, which is home to over 50 species of Birds of Prey, including Eagles, Owls, Hawks and Falcons. We aim to make your day with us truly memorable in a fun but informative way, with plenty of hands on, as you help train and fly these majestic creatures. 'Half day' and 'Full day adventures' available to book on our website. Gift vouchers are also available to purchase for that special person.
I had a fabulous day at Forest Falconry. Hanna and Stephen introduced us to many of their birds of prey, and they were very friendly and informative, we had hands-on flying the birds, I think my favourite was a white-faced Owl called Rafiki. I highly recommend this experience.

A lovely walk, great even if you gave a disability like me. It is so peaceful and interesting, lots to see. The people i did meet were so friendly and added to the feel good factor.

With endless attractions, you need at least one full day to visit Longleat and explore,. The Safari is great fun and the free Safari app provides an informative commentary while viewing the animals - make sure to unscrew your aerial before you visit the monkey enclosure! We spent at least an hour driving around the safari. Enjoy a boat trip to feed the sealions, handle some exotic creatures in the Jungle Kingdom, pet some farm animals in the petting farm, feed nectar to the lorikeets and experience the bat cave. Longleat country house is beautiful to explore, as are the grounds. Round off the day with food at one of the many food establishments on site, and take a train ride around the outskirts of the park before leaving.

Large lake to walk around, going through woody areas so nice & cool on a hot day plus large open grass areas suitable for picnics. Theres a small cafe & toilets which are open plus a play park but that's closed at the moment. Plenty of swans, geese & ducks to feed. Popular with dog walkers & cyclists. Theres a large car park which has an overflow area on a field for busy times & costs £1 for 2 hours. Great place for families with small children.

A nature centre set in 15 acres of country park with alpacas, donkeys, chickens, rabbits, pigs & other animals, a tea room serving freshly cooked (and highly acclaimed) meals, a play area and small gift shop. The Hope Nature Centre is a registered charity that was set up in 2000 to help provide work placements for young adults with learning difficulties. We cater for groups, children's birthday parties and business breakfasts in a safe, disability friendly environment.
Brilliant food and excellent service from Karen and Ethan at the hope nature centre whilst on a dog walk at Southwick country park

We visited today with our 3 year old and my parents. Started with a really tasty and reasonably priced lunch in the cafe then a walk around the animals (£3.50 for adults, £2.50 for children, bargain!). Big area full to walk around with play areas and sandpit. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and we will definitely be returning! Big recommendation on the whippy ice creams stand run by a legend!

One of the best local Nature Reserves to me. Always a place to relax and get away from it all. The reserve now has a new cafe (opened in September in the old fisherman's hut), beautiful views over the lake, several surprise sightings of a kingfisher while enjoying home made cake.
