A fantastic experience. All staff and volunteers are so welcoming and helpful, the tour of the centre is very interesting and informative and who can resist playing and feeding 6 week old puppies. You have to keep an eye out for ticket release dates as they sell out extremely quickly and usually several months in advance. Fully recommend this experience.

Charlecote Park has been home to the Lucy family since the 12th century. Their stories are told throughout the house by their portraits, the objects they collected from around the world and the design influence they had on the house and parkland. See how Mary Elizabeth Lucy remodeled the house in Victorian times. The gardens include a formal parterre, woodland walk and the wider parkland (inspired by 'Capability' Brown), which offer walks with picturesque views across the River Avon. A herd of fallow deer has been in the park since Tudor times.
beautiful setting for a lovely historic house full of interesting historical facts lots of volunteers or guides to enhance the history of all the rooms, beautiful parkland with various walks and lots of deer to see , The Orangery restaurant and the new cafe were lovely and the food exceptional especially the homemade bread with the soup and panninis

Redwings Oxhill is home to almost 90 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys, including the most friendly group of cobs known as "The Breakfast Club" because they’re all named after breakfast items! Visitors can enjoy regular ‘Walk and Talk’ tours where you can meet residents large and small – from impressive Shire Major (and his equally giant field mates) to mischievous miniature Shetland Wensley. Tasty refreshment are on offer in the Nosebag Cafe, while an on-site gift shop has a range of souvenirs, proceeds of which go to support the hundreds of equines in the charity's care. While visiting Redwings Oxhill, you might like to support the work of the charity by adopting one of its friendly residents, either for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one. A year's adoption costs just £15! Redwings Oxhill is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10am to 4pm. Entry is FREE and dogs on leads are welcome too!
All I can say is WOW! The team members are so friendly and the horses are truly well looked after, enjoying life and thriving. What more could you want? ???? There are toilet facilities, baby changing and accessible areas for wheelchair users. My two boys were in awe of the handsome Sully. We will be back.

I have fished here a few times with my 11 year old son and we both love it. We usually fish the bowl as it is fished less than the other pools and we usually have this pool to ourselves which makes me more comfortable as my son does like to cast out his feeder rod far too frequently. {he is young , he'll learn). Float fished in the summer you can have a fish every cast ,usually roach or bream. There does not seem to be any small carp in here they are all 8-12 pounds and fight really well. We usually float fish with one rod and feeder with the second rod. Pellet meat or bread will catch the carp even in the colder months if you are patient enough. prices are ok. I have not tried the cafe yet so cant comment on that. The bailiff is always friendly and helpful. i will return there again and again.

Had a lovely walk around fields once part of an abbey. Has a lake, swimming pool, kids activity area and is surrounded by historic buildings of many different periods, including a castle , Elizabethan thatched cottages, Georgian houses etc. Excellent for dog walking

We were visiting friends who live nearby and decided to walk in the woods. Spring was finally arriving so the trees were lush with new leaves, bluebells were adding colour and birds were singing. It was a glorious experience to be so immersed in the country in such close proximity to the nation's second city. The fact that you can also access the Earlswood lakes is another massive bonus. Stunning and so good for your mental health
