Krabi Elephant Sanctuary offers a new home for overtired elephants who have ever worked from logging and tourism industry. As the first ethical elephant tourism experience in Krabi, we rescue and welcome them back into their Natural habitat. Feed, walk with, and observe our beautiful rescued elephants as they roam throughout our sanctuary, socialize and bathe naturally in our fresh water lagoon.
This is a lovely place to visit with kids where you can see a elephant show and also visit the sanctuary of the lovely gentle giants.

We live in Ao Nang, Krabi and visit the Cobra show with guests. Always very exciting, informative and the snakes are well cared for by passionate handlers. All have fangs and poison. We are from South Africa and we have made documentary DVD's for the deadly snakes of SA. These guys are master snake handlers. The big plus is the new hospital across the road if you fear being bitten. We recommend that you visit the King Cobra Show when you are in Ao Nang, Krabi.

My 2-year-old daughter absolutely loved this place. We had initially thought to both see the snakes and the monkeys, with the monkeys as the favourite attraction (my daughter love monkeys) but we didn't brought enough cash and they didn't took credit card so we decided to skip the snake part. However, they took mercy on my daughter and we had a great tour of the snake pits and could both have pictures taken and hold a snake. They were explaining about the different snakes as we went through the different cages. Don't know if there are more to the snake tour normally but we got enough to keep us all interested and entertained. The main event was the monkeys. They had two very adorable monkeys which was training for different things, like taking down a coconut and we could feed them and pat them. My daughter was mesmerised and have talked about it the entire stay and even after returning from Thailand. I had my doubts about going there because I want to make sure the animals is treated properly and isn't in harm or pain. Of course I can't be sure but it seemed like a good place where the animals was treated good and their caretakers was interested in their well-being. Would recommend, especially for children
