We had never seen a scrub jay "in person" until we visited this vegetation rich preserve where we saw many of these blue birds. They seemed to magically appear, and as we watched them - they watched us. Some even swooped down & landed on our head! We learned that Florida scrub jays are found only in Florida scrubland and have been in Florida for at least two million years. Cruickshank Sanctuary is certainly worth a visit. We plan to return again!

i ordered a tree and had it planted. It was done in the rain and the guy who planted it was with them for 20 years. Nice tree and good planting experience.
