simply wow we saved the best for the last. Gurara falls is well managed - there is an entrance fee of 500 naira per person. Its better to have your own means of transportation. There are different areas of the waterfall. The lookout point, the sandy shore part where you can do pinics and barbeque , the rocky front at the waterfall base where you can sunbath if you wanted. Towards the end there is a swimming area where you can take dip. The locals fish there also so its possible to get white catfish, black catfish and some other types. We had a guide and gave him a 1000 Naira for taking us around. Absolutely a must see

Beautiful place. It's a lovely hike up could get a bit tiring but it's doable for most levels of fitness... I would rate it an easy to moderate hike. The views from mid way and on top are very rewarding. We payed a local guide to go up it us. It would also be nice if the government took care of the dumpsite right next to the billboard

From the bus ride to the bike ride, crossing 3 streams and the hike before the waterfall reveals itself. Totally Amazing. You'll have a better experience during the dry season and you'll do well to pack water and snacks.

Lekki Conservation Centre

Reviewed By lawmany - Abuja, Nigeria

I highly recommend this place if you find yourself in Lagos. It is a hidden gem and I find it absurd that people in Lagos do not know about it because of bad publicity. This place offers you an opportunity to let loose especially if have have been under intense pressure. The adrenaline rush is at its peak.It is also a good place for picnic, family bonding, office get together, games etc. Be warned that the canopy walk and tree climbing are extreme sports which you cannot do carrying babies and toddlers (These they won't tell you, you would find out after you have paid). The management need to keep the water and natural reserve cleaner, maintain the facilities especially the walkway better and do better publicity. Prep people up well before they embark on it, not allowing them to find out for themselves while on it already. Also do not wear formal or native attires for these activities.
