Hey there...This park is Asia's largest park. You have to give whole day for complete tour of the park. Night lighting and sounds I like the most and yeah I'll suggest if you are going to visit then must take cycle from gate number 4 and take a round of whole park.

This is a large park in Lucknow is named after - Dr.Ram Manohar Lohia who propagated Socialism. An awesome fountain show is displayed every evening. There are total four courtyards equipped with big parking spaces. All the entrances have ticket counters. This one is a great green area in the city of parks. This place is packed with beautiful greenery and the surroundings are so pleasant & quietness all around. There are two synthetic jogging tracks in the park. There is also a modern acupressure track near the entrance courtyard number two. This park is very well maintained by Lucknow Development Authority. This is the place where people enjoy the nature in it’s true colours.

Gomti Riverfront Park

Reviewed By AjayKacker - Gurugram (Gurgaon), India

Visited the place twice for morning walk as I was staying in a nearby hotel. Place is huge and clean as a whistle. Located in close proximity of the Ambedkar park / monument, the place is an ideal place to visit with friends and family. Jogging track is separate from the walking track. Well manicured lawns with flowers and shrubs add to the scenic beauty of the place. The river itself needs to be cleaned as it appeared to be full of water hyacinth. Will definitely come again possibly at night time on next visit.

This bagh , garden ,made by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daulah dating to the first decade of 19th century .The falling structures today are symbolic of the vanishing heritage of the Aawdh rulers .What should have been preserved is falling apart in connivance with those who need to protect it . Herein also lies a grave of the British soldier Captain Frederick Wales .The same has been appropriated by locals who propound the place as Captian Baba and love birds come and pray on this whitewashed grave seeking Baba's blessings for their romance !! Go see this place before itvanishes .
