Oh wow! Tough! I love walking but the incline got to me . I wasn’t really prepared for the challenge. Lesson learned. I need to get better walking shoes with tighter ankle grip for walking down. It took us 2 and a half hours up and less coming down. We started at 10am and lucky that the day wasn’t too hot. So glad we made it to the top ! Hydrate often!! Take tiny sips every few mins , and even coming down. 1 ltr bottle should be enough for 1 person to drink and carry down.

Perak Tong Cave Temple

Quite a surprise. Tucked away behind a big Chinese temple is a huge cavernous cave. It houses a very serene Buddha and many other statues of Buddha and Chinese Gods. The paintings on the wall are very beautiful. There are many stalactites and stalagmites with water drips. There is a steep stair case taking you to the summit only for the fit ones. Worth a visit.

This was lovely. A Grab taxi driver told us about it and took us there. It's a flat short walk, leading to a tunnel, and then you emerge to a beautiful view of the lake and the sheer cliff faces covered in plants and trees, like a little lost world, that lots of people know about. Very much worth the visit. Loved it.

Go Chin Pomelo Nature Park

GoChin Pomelo Farm is the best and the only farm you can visit the pomelo and other fruits trees in Tambun. The oldest tree is almost 50 years old, and the stall was opened more than 20 years. The entrance is free, allow you to walk along the walking tracks knowing the local fruits and taking photos with the pomelos hanging on the tree. You may get the originally Tambun Pomelo and local fruits at here too! We are here to wait you discover and visit, as we are opening everyday, without holidays rest!

This is the only nature orchard park in Ipoh area. The owner is friendly explaining the origin and story of Tambun Pomelos while visiting the farm. Others than pomelo, they also planted starfuit & guava. After the farm visitation, the fruits they are selling at the stall are from their own farm, hence the quality is worth to the price. While I'm choosing, a local people also told me she is purposely coming to their stall to buy Pomelos. But their pomelo really juicy and delicious compare buying from the others Ipoh stall. Overall : - the owner and staff are friendly. - can get the original juicy and delicious Tambun pomelo from here. - free farm visitation. *can try their Pomelo Aromatic Spray too.
