Visited Pinjore gardens on a November weekday afternoon. Loved it. It was not crowded at all. A very good place to enjoy a couple of hours in a calm and serene place.

If you’re looking for less crowded park, with some nicely designed gardens this is a nice park. The Sarkaria Cactus Garden does cost about Rs. 20 per person. With the upkeep, design, and beauty it is worth a visit and stroll about.

Short distance away from Guru dronacharya metro station Aravali bio diversity park is a refreshing place in the middle of a busy city. There is no entry fee but its open only during the morning and evening. The park is popular among joggers but it also offers some amazing views of gurugram city from the top of its small hills. Wild bushes and trees line the walkway. There's an auditorium for events. I had the pleasure of attending a musical festival in the evening once. Sunsets are absolutely stunning. Aravali biodiversity park is a good place to be if you're looking for a fun outdoor, close to the nature experience. If you are in gurugram you should definitely check it out. Maybe even take up the habit of jogging while you're there and keep a good health!

This little place tucked away one hour from Gurugram is an amazing labour of love by a former Railway Engineer with a love for train modelling. You can see scalable models of railway tracks, construction sites, airports and carnivals complete with cars, trains, aircraft and people. They have taken amazing care in this Covid environment with touch less points like ice cream sticks to push buttons and sanitizer stations everywhere. The staff is really well trained and show you around very well. It has also got outdoor furniture for picnics and you can get your food baskets and mats. The kids will enjoy the swings and slides and the duck pond. There is a coffee machine also for self service.

Lots of different kinds of animals like Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Ducks and Geese are looked after. They have a butterfly conservatory with many different kinds of butterflies. The food at the cafe inside the park is very nice. We had Masala Maggi, Pav Bhaji, Chole Bhature. Masala Chaach was amazing and so was Kulhad waali chai. It’s a must visit.
