By far the best horseback riding experience I have ever had. Everyone in my group agreed that this was the highlight of our four day trip in Ensenada.

This beautiful, island-studded bay is a prime spot for all kinds of aquatic activities, including windsurfing, kayaking and whale-watching.
The Hotel Los Vientos made the trip worthwhile. The highway South is fixed (for now) all the way to Bahia de Los Angeles, so we took a quick trip. My husband could not get a fishing boat that day, but we found the spot to buy fresh Yellowtail fillets in town, to take home. The hotel had all we needed to relax for 2 days. Clean rooms, great food, and service (delivered to your room), from their restaurant, a huge palapa style bar on the shore, even a swimming pool for a dip. All masked employees, and very helpful front desk. It's a quick drive downtown, if you need something.

Hop around a few boulders, and splash in collecting pools as you hunt down some waterfalls. My husband and I found this spot while exploring the wine region in Valle de Guadalupe, so we certainly weren't prepared to hike (okay...we were wearing sandals, so we did it barefoot). It was a magical addition to a day. We passed several camping spots on the way into the canyon that we are sure to try soon. They even had tire swings on a few of the mature trees that made me feel like I was 7 years old again :)

The highlight of this park is a water feature that starts up at night time. The water fountains start up at random times and positions every couple of minutes, accompanied by lights and music. The most fun is to be had watching brave souls walk into the fountain area, essentially playing 'chicken' with the fountain, only to be drenched when the fountains burst up right from around them.

Jardin Botanico San Quintin promotes the knowledge, understanding and use of native plants to inspire the conservation of native habitat and biodiversity within northwest Baja California. We own and manage the only Vernal Pool Nature Reserve in Baja California, home to several federally (U.S.) listed endangered species. We also offer bird watching tours to many localities of the area.
