Along the right bank of the Kakhovka Reservoir (between the villages Kapulovka and Pokrovsky, toward the highway Nikopol, Kherson) stretches a vast array of steep coastal hills, which is popularly called the Dnieper cooler. The most spectacular colorful of them, without a doubt, the Pana cliff.

For me the best parts I enjoyed about Dnipro was exploring along the pedestrianised areas, starting from this park then along the river in both directions and across to the different islands. I hired a bicycle and spent a couple of days exploring each way.

This park is no longer called Park of Gazeta Pravda. The new non communist name is Park of Fedor Mershavtsev. This is a very beautiful and scenic park any time of the year. It's a great place to hold a gathering or to simply relax and enjoy the outdoors. The only downside is the pollution in the river, so swimming is not recommended.

I’ve been to this park numerous times with my wife. It’s got such an incredible vibe to it. I have been there in both winter and summer. The Ferris wheel is a crazy thrill as it’s very old and there’s no brakes which means you have to jump on it to get on and jump off it to get off. Yeah..safety goes out the window on this one but so what...I had a blast and i would get on it again. There’s plenty of rides for kids and adults plus many other things to do there on a date or just hang out with some friends. There’s a huge duck pond with some kind of closed amphitheatre in the middle of it that I have no idea what it was used for but it’s very cool looking. There’s plenty of places to get a bite to eat and if you want to get a little buzz on. You can get some beers at most of the little cafes at the park. I’d say it’s one of my favorite places to visit as I think it’s one of the first places my wife showed me in dnipro and has such a special place in my heart. We even got professional photos done here as that accounts for how much I enjoy it there. So go visit globa park if your not from Ukraine. Don’t listen to the people who say it’s dangerous as that’s not true at all. I’ve been there through the day and night.
