Great for cycling (at low tide), long walks to broken head (home of Chris Hemsworth), swimming without the crowds, fishing and relaxing with a good book.

Kings beach is situated down within the broken head nature reserve, about a ten minute drive from Byron bay. It's. Secluded small set beach that is a hidden gem for nudists. There are shady spots everywhere to escape the sun, with beautiful clean water. A perfect spot.that doesn't get too busy. Perfect for couples or singles and safe. Highly recommended.

Visited the Pass Beach on a Saturday morning, and found the beach delightfully picturesque with surfers from all walks of life. It’s linked by walking trail to Wategos beach, and the Lighthouse. It is very accessible from downtown, and has ample parking

Byron Hills is situated situated just 3 mins drive into the quaint village of Bangalow and 6-10 mins to Byron’s beaches. Ballina/Byron Airport is a 20 min drive and Coolongatta Airport is a 45 min drive. The property sits on 5 lush acres with views of the surrounding Hinterland and Macadamia farms. The house is well equipped and beautifully furnished with warm inviting interiors. There are 4 good sized bedrooms in total. The Master Suite including an ensuite and outdoor bath with stunning views. Each of the bedrooms open onto gardens or decks with views. There are several outdoor zones to enjoy including an undercover bbq area with seating for 8 people including lounge area. The Tuscan inspired pergola also seating for 8 people includes a traditional pizza oven. This is a beautiful space of an evening as the sun goes down behind the spot lit 100 year old Fig tree. There are monthly markets held as well as the weekly Saturday morning Farmers market where you will find local produce.
I love Byron so much. It’s getting quite commercial now and the prices are up there, but I definitely love the vibe and how everything is centrally located , so I recommend getting accomodation near by so you don’t really need to touch the car unless you’re driving to surf spots. I would avoid going during schoolies and school holidays to avoid the chaos .

So much more peaceful than main beach of the Pass and we love that our dog is as welcome as we are. We love our walks along the beach when the blue bottles are in or the wind is up almost as much as we love those perfect wave days.

Drive there is windy and due to recent rain, water over the road at points. We were able to cross in 2-door no issues. The hike down to the base of the falls takes about an hour, it is a 70m descent but it's an easy walk. You have to climb up and over some big boulders as you get closer to the waterfall. Again, due to the recent rain in the area the falls, were full and overflowing heavily. Stunning! I would highly recommend visiting after a day or two after heavy rainfall.
