We walked from Dunsborough to half way along the Meelup Beach trail. It offers great views over Geographe Bay and later in the year will be a great place to see wildflowers. Take some water as there is no water available along the trail. Excellent for all walkers.

Love watching the foreshore transform. It's such an amazing space to spend a day, with the pirate ship playground, restaurants, of course the beautiful beach and now the Shelter brewery to enjoy. Something for everyone and so family friendly. Love spending our summer days here with the family.

So many place where Mother Nature is seriously showing off, a day spent throughout this area could be life changing or leave you with outstanding memories & photos at the very least, highly recommended .

This terrific site is accessible by all, there is a sealed road straight to the car park and an easy walk up stairs to a look out. If you are more adventurous you can take a track down the ocean side and then climb up one of the rocks for an even better view. We walked from Cape Naturaliste lighthouse car park and it is an easy 3.5 walk both ways on sealed disability friendly path and boardwalk. The views are sensational.

Hire a bicycle from the visitors centre and ride along the bike path for about 6km to Sensations cafe for a coffee.

Is this one of the best beaches in the world?? I must remind myself not to go on beach holidays overseas because we have one of the best on our doorstep

Delicious ice cream, well maintained grounds and facilities including mini-golf and a playground for kids. Lots of grassy space for the kids to run around. My only nitpick is they knocked down half the large wooden playground.

From the same parking area at Meelup Beach is where the trail to Castle Rock is. Just a short pleasant 700m walk brings you to Castle Rock where my sons had a fun time scrambling on the rocks. If you go further past this point, you will be met with the view of the bluest water of the ocean. As you make your way back, on the left up the hill is the Whale Lookout. Just a short 300m walk where we finally saw whales at the midway point. So glad as we did not see any whales earlier on the Whale Lookout Trail at Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse.
