Salar Jung Museum is a collection or arts, artifacts, jewels from around the world. Salar Jung III was the Prime Minister of the Nizam of Hyderabad and his love for collecting artifacts is showcased in this museum. However, not all of his collections is displayed here. A few of the famous ones are Lord Vishnu sleeping on a serpent (made out of granite), The Veiled Rebecca (marble statue), The British Bracket Clock (a small toy comes out and hits the gong every hour), The Jade room, Double Statue of Mephistopheles & Margaretta (carved out of single piece of wood it has 2 distinct faces on either side). There are paintings by Raja Ravi Varma as well. It will take more than an entire day to visit all the rooms and look at all the artifacts. Atleast keep 2-3 hours aside to walk through the galleries. There is also a small souvenier shop on the ground floor. On a weekend the queues are long and try not to go on a public holiday as one cannot enjoy the artifacts in peace :) I have been to this museums multiple times and every time I lay my eyes on something new which I may have not looked at previously.

Located at one end of Shilparamam, this open air park is dotted with sculptures. The themes are varied and made from variety of objects. There is also an observation platform from where you can enjoy the scene. A huge sculpture of Gulliver tied up is added attraction. The place also offers great photography opportunities.

Amazing and outstanding place to see unique collection of hand made cars along with bikes and scooters models too. This place is covered with very eye catching colorful cars consisting of Cake Car, Shoe Car, Bag car, Bed Car, Insect car, Lotus car, Snooker car, eraser car etc. All these cars are operational and they are designed and built within short period of time. Kids will like this place very much and the one more advantage of this place is it is very near to Zoo park so if you happen to plan this place you can plan both this place as well as Zoo Park too. There are few bikes, scooters which are big in size and one can climb them and take some cool snaps. Ticket prices are also very nominal for Adults Rs. 60/- per head and kids above 3 years are charged too. Mobile and Camera ticket is must and they are charged at Rs. 60/-

Due to time constraints, we visited only the museum. The ground floor has a lot of interesting science concepts explained in a simple way. All the instruments worked properly. For the under teen kids, this will be an interesting visit. They can see practically some of the concepts that are taught in the school. Apart from the mechanics, the illusion concepts are also really nice. Don't forget to view the different mirrors like concave, convex etc., The dinasorium is an interesting visit. Tips: 1. Visit early in the day so that you can see the planetarium shows in the language of your choice 2. There are a couple of Tea shops just outside the planetarium that has all the basic stuff.
