Corfu Art Gallery is the only private institution in Ionian Islands exhibiting corfiot art and it was established in 2005 by the corfiot engineer and collector Mr Michail Aggelos Vradis. The Gallery includes 5 floor exhibition of corfiot art covering the 19th, 20th and the 21th century. A library full of books of art and a giftshop is part of the Corfu Art Gallery.

The Patounis soap factory is operating since the 19th century without interruption. It still produces pure olive soap, using the same traditional method.

We have searched for artifacts depicting the traditional methods of olive oil extraction , including donkey and hand driven millstones dating from 16oo,hand and diesel driven presses dating from 1906 and many more..... These artifacts have been renovated to depict olive oil production from the mid 1850s to present day.We offer a tour and olive oil tasting.

Meet Ioannis Capodistrias, the first Governor of Greece, at his family country house in central Corfu, a declared National Heritage Monument. The house-museum follows Capodistrias' life path from his youth in Corfu to his esteemed career as a diplomat in Europe, through to the creation of modern Greece and his assassination in 1831, as an acting Governor. The Music Museum attempts to present in brief the history of the Philharmonic Society of Corfu after almost two centuries of incessant activity (which coincides with some of the most dramatic periods of modern history). Moreover, the Museum honours Nikolaos Halikiopoulos Mantzaros (1795-1872), the Society’s first artistic director (1841-1872), composer –among others– of the Greek national anthem, laborious music teacher and contrapuntist, as well as inspirer of a whole generation of composers that shaped the music of Ionian Islands, and not only, during 19th century. Music Museum «Nikolaos Halikiopoulos Mantzaros» consists of five thematic sections, which present its activities and history: I) Foundation, Administration, Organization. II) Educational activities. III) The concerts. IV) The wind band: Documents and artifacts related to the repertory and the activities of the Society’s wind band. V) The people and their work.
