My wife and I stayed in Marrakech for 4 nights, but wanted to visit Casablanca as well without an overnight stay. This tour was the perfect solution. Timely pickup at our hotel in Marrakech along with a comfortable ride to Casablanca. We got to see all the highlights we wanted. The Mosque Hassan II was clearly the highlight - an amazingly large and beautiful religious site. The rest of the city was also interesting with the help of a very knowledgeable guide. I definitely recommend for those staying in Marrakech who also want to experience Casablanca.

Our trip from Fez, Merzouga, Ouarzazat, Marrakech is an opportunity to discover as much as possible about the Moroccan beauty, passing by the charming landscape and nature of the Middle Atlas by stoping at Ifran the Little Swittzerland of Morocco, the Cedar Forest or home of Monkeys, We Head the road to the yellow color of the sahara Desert Merzouga right before the end of the day Where you will have about an 1H of camel trekking along the desert enjoying one of the best sunset you will encounter in your life to finally arrive to Erg Chebbi dunes where you will be spending the night around a great dinner while enjoying a local folkloric band around a fire camp. Our next destination is Ouarzazate so it’s recommended to wake up early so you can catch an amazing sunrise over the dunes of your camp. After breakfast we will visit the town of Ouarzazate,We stop in ait ben haddou we will arrive in the time of lunch, We continue passing through the high atlas, then Drop Off In Marrakech.

Nice time out of Fes for the day. Driver picked up on time and we departed the city after a few pickups. We were a small group. First stop at Voluvis was really nice, amazing site. The driver was not clear about what time to be back at the van so that was frustrating but it worked out fine. The next stop Moulay Idriss was nothing special. If you are not a Muslim you can’t visit the mosque which seems the only reason to go to this town. Finally last stop Meknes which was just ok, there’s not a lot to see really and we were there all afternoon. There is no tour included on this package it’s just the transport from Fes so if you want that at Voluvis then you have to pay extra I don’t think it was needed honestly. Overall if you have extra time in Fes this is a fine excursion but otherwise I wouldn’t make plans just for this.

With three extra days in Namibia, I decided to include a quick trip to Etosha. I struggled to find a company that was still operational, and met my needs. Then I chatted with Megan, representative with Across Africa. I quickly knew she was actually interested in helping. Her sincerity, honesty, humanity and dedication were recognized immediately, and I knew that I didn’t need to search further. She set up my trip with no hidden BS, made an effort to meet all my needs, and did all of it promptly, professionally, and graciously. My trip turned out perfectly down to the last detail. I credit Megan and my guide Steve for making my quick visit to Etosha unforgettable. Because of them I will use Across Africa in the future and suggest to others that they do the same!

I thoroughly enjoyed riding in the dessert. Perhaps for me, the best part was being enveloped by a dust / hail / thunder / lightning / rain maelstrom while riding our camels. Free skin exfoliation from sand blasts. Food was plentiful and good. Tents were spacious and warm. Slight down side was that guides spoke very little English and spoke very little too us at all. Nothing was said as we ride through the storm. No pointers on best way to ride camel. No cultural/ history about life of Berbers in past or the present. Had an excellent time with other guests. We ended up starting the fire for them as they thought it could not be done with wet wood. They did play drums and taught us a few rhythms. There were flush toilets. We were able to shower in the morning when we got back. Ride in the dessert for sure. Maybe choose a different company

I love the country on all levels. I arrived alone. Found my way safely to a wonderful hotel but decided to stay and rented a home. I connected with the American offices and got a job teaching children to speak English. I traveled around Morocco thouroghly and later brought groups to visit from the USA. I fell in love with an incredible man but we were unable to marry since I didn’t have whatever papers to allow that(???). So life was wonderful, food was great, acceptance of foreign visitors was totally acceptable and the cities and out lands are gorgeous.
