Westchester County, a collection of towns that serve as a popular suburb for the bordering New York City, is also the gateway to the Hudson River Valley, an area that promises a plethora of outdoor activities, from sailing to bird-watching to cross country skiing. The County also contains Rye Playland, a popular children's amusement park, historic sites from the American Revolution, the African American Heritage Trail and several famous houses, including Lyndhurst, a Gothic Revival mansion.

Great venue with interesting titles. Great for seniors during weekdays. Very clean and reasonable. Comfortable seats. Parking can be a bit of an issue so show up early and stroll the shops.

I've been to the Alamo numerous times now and I must say the experience each and every time has always been top notch. Alamo is unique when compared to most movie theaters as the food is served to you by a server. I must say, the food is rather good with a plethora of options ranging from alcoholic shakes, craft beer and pizza to popcorn and m&m's. I must also add that I appreciate how the menu references classic movies (They have a burger called the royale with cheese). However the food can be a bit pricey, but that is expected from a movie theater. The service is fast and the servers are attentive, you hardly have to wait long for your food. The Alamo also shows classic movies from time to time, (around a year ago I watched the first Rocky movie) and also shows indie movies, giving people a diverse movie selection to choose from besides the typical blockbuster. Overall this place is a must if you're a frequent movie goer or even just a casual movie fan like myself.

The Regal New Roc 18 screen RPX and IMAX Cinema in New Rochelle is my favorite place to see an IMAX movie. It has one of the largest IMAX theaters in America with a five story IMAX screen, Dolby Atmos surround sound and the most comfortable stadium seating of any theater. Their RPX theater is a movie experience as well with Regal designed picture and sound that will blow you away. And their 16 standard theaters are great with Sony digital 4K picture, Klipsch surround sound and reclining stadium seating. And all theaters will show 3D movies. Their concession area has a large variety of snacks and hot dinners, the Regal Rewards loyalty card offers big discounts and there's a parking garage next door. You can't beat this place.

Super comfortable seating, convenient indoor parking nearby, huge range of refreshments, good sound and sight lines - City Center 15 Cinema de Luxe combines all the best features you might reasonably want. The films are the same, of course, but the facilities do make a significant difference to the viewing experience.
