Virginia can make American history come alive. Visit Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, tour Civil War battlefields, explore the living history museum at Williamsburg… the possibilities are endless (if the kids object, break up the historical sightseeing with a visit to Busch Gardens). Arlington, site of Arlington National Cemetery, is just across the Potomac River from all the major sites in D.C. In addition to beaches and historical attractions, Virginia has plenty to offer outdoor enthusiasts. Active families will love the Blue Ridge Highlands, where hiking, canoeing and tubing are just a few of the activities offered. Couples might enjoy a romantic mountain cabin in Virginia after a day of hiking in Shenandoah National Park.

Incredible old movie palace to see classics and 2nd run movies. The new seats are in, so It’s a lot more comfortable now. My theater of choice if I’m going out to a movie in RVA.

We are a classic 2 screen drive-in theatre, celebrating 60 years of movie memories "Under the Stars". We are the only drive-in theatre still operating in the Northern Va/DC/MD metro area. We offer classic car speakers, a playground for children, special events through out the season. Movies projected in High Definition Digital, stereo 5.1 surround sound if you use a car radio. Full service concession stand, offering hot meals to standard theater snacks. Double Feature movies of current or new movies are our standard offering, but we do triple and dusk to dawn shows as well. We are PET FRIENDLY-- so bring your dog(s) to the movies!
We drove 3 hours round-trip for this theatre and it was well worth it! It was such a fun experience for us and our children to see an outdoor movie during the pandemic. The employees are very friendly too! My children loved the experience and I can't wait to go back. I'll be checking the website for the upcoming movies!

We had an opportunity to go to the Goochland Drive-In recently for a customer event, to see a Christmas Movie. We took our grandkids, and had a great time. It sure brought back memories of my childhood. The drive in is set up well, and the staff do an excellent job of reminding folks to turn off their lights, even wandering around during the movie to do so. And when it's over, they walk around with a battery jump kit to help anyone whose battery has ran down. We were also surprised by the concession stand, with the variety of food they had available. Our choices, cheeseburgers and tater tots, were very good. And the concession staff was very friendly. Can't wait to take the grandkids back for a summer movie.

We love this place! Very comfortable seating, and during the covid pandemic, they strictly observe all protocols, so we feel very safe, especially since crowds are basically non-exisitent. In mid-week during the day, we sometimes have the theater to ourselves, or share with just a handful of others. They also have a nice selection of food and beverage, not just popcorn and candy!

This is a small and quaint theatre but enjoyable because allows a full screen and sound experience ...its best when you reserve a seat in advance...chairs recline and are comfy!
